DESCRIPTION

The vast majority of the Jedi were in a severe crisis during The Gulag Era, with lawlessness, cheesy action horror an epidemic across the whole Galaxy, and a general collapse of of civil and economic infrastructure. With such severe threats a daily reality, it's understandable some Jedi would seek out the maximum amount of protection possible to do continue doing their job effectively. The grim, gothic and angular styling of these Force Altered Power Armors can be traced back to Force Sensitive Armorsmiths from Coruscant, drawing minor influence from Senate Guard Armors. Designed as much to project authority as defense, this fluted style of armor never saw a revival after the Gulag Crisis ended, and it's style is regarded as a historical curiosity from a time when the Order had its back against the Wall, and making the enemy think twice about fighting while operating in an extremely dangerous environment was an unpleasant reality of doing business
