Playby and Race basis?

Here is a simple question here that could easily apply for everyone.

Why did you pick the race and playby combinations you did for your characters?

The character I am posting this on is a Jawa from an odd place in the galaxy (Vendaxa) and is a tribal sort, though most of the tribe he's in have tattoos on them resembling pieces of Majora's Mask or go as far as making their whole bodies be covered in tattoos of such a nature alongside horns from a beast on them colored like it as well.

So Benji is simply a shaman of his tribe sort of, that's one reason he wears his mask (therefore looking like Skull Kid in the process.)

Jak Sandrow

"Nobody cares for the woods anymore."
Well, I started off with a cookie cutter Corellian smuggler, got my first name from the eponymous video game, ended up the subject of vigorous illegal experimentation, and now I get custom art done of my OC!

When I made Asaraa I decided that I wanted to play an Alien, and to Togruta were lesser played in the Star Wars games I've come across. The name itself I looked up Togruta names and built it from there :)

When I first created Morna Imura, I used various Anime or Art images of a Fire Bender, or pyromancer. Later on I used Andy Biersack. For Nickolas Imura I used Vincent Valentine for quite some time, and even Noctis from the FF series. It was later that I had him using Yasuo as he transformed into a more Samurai Character.

Ignis is a combination of the two. Using Morna's original faceclaim, but has a mix of Morna and Nicks actions and desires.

Human came with the territory as a Shaper of Kro Var, as they seem more "native american" in culture mixed with a bunch of early Edo period Japanese styles, and Bending from the Avatar series.

Vigil

Orwell, The Librarian
Vigil is an so without a body. So it fits.

[member="Caelag Vass"] is a miraluka (a personal favorite species, def. Top five) and the play by is the fire keeper because she has no eyes like a miraluka, and I'm a dark souls fanboy. Simple enough for me.

This old guy, I made originally outside of this site, so the playby was the only thing that could fit him.

And yes he can transform, but his memory is still coming back slowly, so he does not do that regularly anymore.

Not a flight attendant... just a risk.
I've been writing this character on those 'mention their board name and get a death sentence' for quite awhile.... over a decade i think.

She was human only because she needed to befriend a group of Imperials also on said boards. This character existed 20 years after the battle of Yavin over there, and was a surviving Alderaanean. Loooooong story, but great RPs resulted out of that mix. :)
