Player fights

The most common way duels are written is the literary way. Write a fight just like you were writing a fiction novel, with you controlling your character and the other writer controlling theirs. Go with what is logical and feels right, keep in contact with the enemy's writer and you should be alright. It may take some time to get really good at it, but it's definitely the most used one here, and probably allows the most creativity.

I know dice rolls are also used as in a tabletop RP, but that's not as common at all and I'm not quite as familiar with this system.

Just remember to discuss things with the other writer beforehand to figure out how they prefer to write a duel and so on. There's no definite way you have to write a duel; it's all just a matter of what works for you and the other writer. ;)

I've always written duels as quick paced things, but that's because my dueling character was comfortable with the force, he was a Sith Knight for how long and had become one of those starting to master Lord ranked force powers.

I'll happily do something on an OOC level with you if you fancy a duel, I have a dead Sith Knight I can revive for one OOC thread if you wanna go through it :)

[member="Jai Katan"] It took me a little while to figure it out myself, but [member="Jayden Sanders"] seemed to pretty much hit the hammer on the head for an explanation. I myself am a little rusty still, but it's a working progress. ;)
