Hope is Kindled
Outer Rim
Time was seemingly non existent when living in space for any length of time. However the longer the time spend out here the more the days blended together and you couldn't tell when one day started and when one would end. It got bad to the point to where his schedule was completely flipped and he found himself awake during the night and up during the day when he was actually planetside. However things were different now that Kahne had a stowaway aboard his ship. Not really, a Padawan to be exact. And a very interesting one at that. Kahne had been open to the training and he was quite pleased when she had accepted his invitation. She put his faith into his hands and he wasn't going to let her down. Ripley Kühn had great potential hidden within her, and also some secrets in her life that might reveal themselves in time if she opted to uncover them. He reassured her during the first few days here that if she needed anything she just had to ask and to also not be afraid to speak her mind. Honesty was the cornerstone of any great relationship, and if they were going to have just that. She needed to first know that she could come to him about anything. Their first few days went over basic force knowledge, the boring stuff as some would call it. And to that end, The Jedi couldn't help but laugh.
The Jedi Master wasn't so hung up on the code, more so about right and wrong and that she would determine for herself which that was. And that in turn would determine a path she would take, he would offer guidance and assistance whenever necessary.
In the end it was up to her.
More training would be covered in the coming days, but here after the first few days, the training shifted to some slight combat training with the lightsaber and the ability to see without seeing.
"Its a feeling, almost like an instinct." Kahne said as he placed the helmet over her head that would obstruct her view. "Eyes can be tricky sometimes." The Jedi Master stood back a few paces as the small remotes that would then shoot small stun rounds towards her once her blade was activated. It would start off with one then would slowly increase to two remotes depending on how she reacted.
"Whenever you are ready, Ripley."
