It was one of those days where Sunam just wanted to stretch his legs out and get some air. After he performed a cargo delivery to Ojom of a shipment in medpacs. Since there wasn't a return contract for the moment, Sunam took this opportunity to spend the evening at the local cantina. Fortunately there was such a place, albeit the Besalisk made it oddly cramped as some were seen sleeping in the dark allies. It didn't appear like there was a lack of food from what Sunam could tell, but perhaps it was due to the lack of space. Or basically overpopulated. There was a poor sod who suddenly grabbed Sunam as he walked by a beggar. A malnourished Besalisk with wild eyes that reminded the Asa'nyx of the beasties he hunted back in the day.
"Food! Please, I need food! Even the taste of hardtack would be fine!" The problem that the short organism could see from a kilometer away was that if people saw Sunam give the alien food. Then the same witnesses would either mug the starved Besalik, or mug him for some credits. The unfortunate side of this was Sunam didn't really have that much credits on him to begin with. Most of the credits he earned went straight to the Tillian Family business while he kept a small share just to make sure he eats to stay alive. That was the key factor that drove Sunam all of his galactic years in living. The major difference in his homeworld and the modern universe was that these people living in a city can't just go out into the wild and hunt for food. Especially in Ojom.
Once Sunam regained his composure, the simply gave the man a smile as he placed his hands over the Besalisk's own.
"Come now, that's no way to get somebody to have a drink with you mate. Just put me down, and I'll treat you to something over at a cantina. Okay?" The Besalisk blinked a couple of times, almost as if it was trying to comprehend what Sunam said. Eventually what Sunam said got through to the Besalisk and the bigger man set the Asa'nyx down. Sunam took a moment to straighten out his leather jacket before he spoke again.
"Now then, I hope you like bar food because I hear some of their braised shaak roast are the finest you can get in this sector." Sunam boasted in his attempt to ease the tension as he started to resume his journey to the Polar Cantina with the Besalisk in tow.
