The Politburo Standing Committee, or Politburo, is a committee of top leadership in the Coruscant First party. It is typically composed of five to nine members. It is the 'inner circle' of the party, and it's official purpose is to conduct policy discussions and make decisions on major issues when the Common Council is not in session.
