Political Meetings

Cullaren, one of the planets who had expressed interest in joining the Shadow Imperium had not yet contacted or been contacted by the Imperium. And the Imperium was struggling. Arctorius had thus opened communications with them. Their ruler was coming to meet him on Spintir at the citadel, hopefully the negotiations turned out well. Arctorius entered the throne room and walked to his throne. Once he had sat down, he awaited the queens arrival.

Spintir
Raelynn Jarrus, queen of Cularin. It was a wonderful world to be in with a wonderful Queen. Raelynn always put her people before herself. She didn't know if it was her parent's intuition or her own spirit, but she felt that some people spoke well of their people, but did totally different actions. Rae took it upon herself to make sure her people were well. She had a fairly busy schedule for someone her age, but running a faction along with doing her duty, things got tough, but she managed. The Royal Order itself was failing as well. So when the young queen was contacted by the leader of Spintir as well as the owner to the Shadow Imperium contacted her, she was thrilled. Rae had shown interest in helping and joining the faction and she had received contact fairly quickly.

That was why today, Raelynn was preparing for her formal meeting with the king of Spintir. She was slightly nervous to say the least, but she kept faith and hope in her heart. She knew the right connections would go a long way. It would be a long trip to Spintir, so as soon as Rae had received the transmission and gained communication with Spintir, she packed and left immediately for her trip to the world and notified the king f her estimated arrival. Rae had honestly never been to this world before and while she was nervous, she was also fairly excited to be traveling new places. When she was notified that they'd be arriving in an hour, Raelynn immediately got up and got ready. She pulled on a pretty navy blue dress and had some help lacing up the back. She then pulled on her shoes and had her hair pulled up. After her hair was done, it was her makeup along with any other necessaries and then since she was on official business, she placed her crown on her head and then waited for landing, knowing it took most likely an hour for her to get ready.

Time seemed to pass by like hours. Rae was becoming anxious and she couldn't wait to land now. As soon as they came out of hyperspace, Rae bounced slightly, just seeing the planet. She was excited and her nerves were getting to her. By the time they finally landed, her escort helped her put on a light jacket and once the ramp opened, she exited the ship and made her way to the citadel where she was told to met up with the king. As she was walking through the castle, she was getting warmer and she took off her jacket, handing it to her escort. When she reached the doors of the citadel, two guards that were standing there they recognized who she was supposed to be and they opened the doors letting her walk through.

As the queen entered Arctorius looked on. Now he had to get up and walk. So that was what he did. "Let's go somewhere moew comfortable." He said and led the queen to a smaller room of to the side with a table and chairs in it. He gestured to one of the chairs for her to sit in on the near side of the table, while he walkeed around to the other side, "I apolagise in advance for any terrorist, or rebel attacks in advance. Sudden changes in the ruling system, as has happened here, can have… unwanted side effects." He began, "I hope you understanzd. We can began negotiations whenever you like ."

As soon as Raelynn walked into the room, she wasn't even ten steps in and the king jumped up and offered a more comfortable place. Instead of saying anything, she gave a small smile and a nod of acknowledgment. Once they reached each other, she followed him into a smaller room, that was set up with a table and chairs. It was a quaint meeting room and it was definitely comfortable. It was small, but they didn't need much to be able to discuss factions and politics.

"Ahh, no worries. Those can easily be taken care of on my own and by my guard."

she gestured to her hurt left arm, which had been sliced open after a meeting with an old friend on Coruscant when she encountered a group of blood thirsty bounty hunters. Rae understood how changes in rules and of rulers effected people. She saw it happen before. When she lost her father, rules had been changed and had been much more strict to keep the people safe. They resented the kingdom for a few years, but once Rae had reached the age, she changed everything back to normal when she found her father's old documents on the rules.

"I definitely understand. My kingdom was the same for a while. The rules had become more strict once my father parished, to keep them safe and they rebelled. It was a long few years until things were back to normal, but yes, I understand how you feel. Either way, I'm good for talking things over right now."

she responded. Rae had a thing for gliding from one conversation to the next. Perhaps it was the way she had been taught or it was just how she was.
