Greetings Confederates!

With the upcoming changes to Major Faction Mandates, your staff team would like to see which direction we'd like to go as a faction! We've listed the best options for mandates as part of this poll and would like to help decide how we play the map game moving forward! If you've got thoughts, feedback, or questions to go along with your selection, feel free to voice so below!

MANIFEST DESTINY

RAPID EXPANSION

FORTRESS WORLDS

CONTAGIOUS ASSAULT

OTHER: ELABORATE

I would choose Manifest Destiny. Both Manifest Destiny and Rapid Expansion are based around getting an extra hex per month, but Manifest Destiny gives us an extra hex per month without requiring an extra dom, but Rapid Expansion requires an extra dom. We've been pretty consistent with completing three dominions per month, so I think that ultimately Manifest Destiny is the best option for us; essentially, it's a bonus hex for us that requires much less work than Rapid Expansion.

Ngl, I'm a huge fan of Contagious Assault.

However, if a break from invasions is to happen and we want to look at other options the new mandates give us, I believe sticking to Rapid Expansion would continue to serve us well on our journey to be a gigantic purple blob on the map, at least for the next few months as we wait to see what other Major Factions choose to do as well.

Fortress Worlds, yo.

It opens us up to being struck at by other factions, certainly, but also gives us the opportunity to be protected from being wiped out by making not one major target, but three for our enemies. As a faction of our size, it would make sense to have two more worlds on the level of Geonosis in our space.

It could give us- check this out- two more cities like Golbah, and so much more story to play with.

When you consider that this is a metagame where people tend to avoid invasions or rebellions, it's really a niche number of people who might even capitalize on the weakness, and if they do, we really should welcome the RP.

From a military perspective, we have perhaps the only group of people who could really stand to benefit from this mandate. And we can still take hexes.
