- Model: Not Applicable

- Reload Speed: Slow
- Effective Range: Average

- Convertible: The bola extends from the bracelet when activated by air resistance (e.g. thrown). A series of microclasps are undone instantly, releasing hidden strands of polyweave to make the dual-tailed bola longer. It must be converted back into a bracelet manually by folding, which can take some time.
- Aesthetics: The bracelet is a pretty little thing: who doesn’t like hematite or pumice?
- A Good Defense is a Good Defense: The intended usage is personal defense. That is not to say that this bola cannot be use offensively or as a trap, but some of its weaknesses – namely short to medium range, long reloading time, and vulnerability to bolts or blades – prevent it from being an effective combat weapon.
- Aromatherapy: The lava bead centerpiece is made of especially porous pumice, allowing it to hold essential oils and perfumes for diffusion.
- Minor Inconvenience: Hematite may hold onto charged static electricity even when the bola is collapsed as a bracelet. It won’t hurt the wearer.
- What a Tangled Web You Weave: Entangling limbs is what a bola is made for. This one is no different, and does the job exceedingly well.
- A Shocking Surprise: Perhaps part of the reason this bola bracelet is so good at entangling its target is because the design features many more balls than a traditional bola, along the entire length of the cord. Though small, each pack an electric punch, and rely on compounding small shocks rather than mass to help bring a target down.
- Sneaky, Sneaky: As an unconventional weapon, the bracelet is easy to hide on one’s person and get through typical security measures.
- Short Circuit: If water gets in on the beads while being worn as a bracelet, the wearer may experience a minor shock. In addition, the electric capabilities of the bolas might cease to function.
- Off the Cuff: Before it can be thrown, the bracelet has to be taken off the wielder’s wrist. Throwing a weapon that is first light weight before expanding into a full length bola can prove a difficult feat to master. But, practice makes perfect!
- Slash and Dash: The cording, especially when extended as a bola, is vulnerable to conventional weapons such as blasters and vibroknifes.
- You Go Fetch: The bola has not recalling mechanism to speak of. A user has one shot and then much physically retrieve it before throwing again.
Damsy had begun sketching a prototype design for the weapon nearly the moment after she had entered the year’s Life Day gift exchange. Soon enough, she departed to Kamino in order to enlist the help of the Kaminoian scientists – namely Naroh Se and Mak Bri – to make her concept into a viable gift.
Note to recipient in gift box: ‘Keep those who mean to hurt you on their toes.’
