- Entourage - Six Super Battle Droids come with the ship in an electromagnetic clamp rack that can be used as a security detail when on clandestine missions.
- Making my way downtown - Even though it is a relatively small vessel, it is capable of long range travel independent of a carrier vessel.
- Layered Shielding - With a number of shield generators placed along the nose cones of the weapon housings, the projectors create a cohesive web of protection around the vessel.
- Maser Lasers - While lacking in armament, the use of Maser weaponry makes up for the dismal amount of firepower by dedicating it's space to a weapon based around both kinetic, and laser damage.
- Drag - The addition of the droids in lieu of the standard bomb rack has removed some of the maneuverability of the craft, and their presence can activate shrapnel ammunition if struck.
- Low Armament - While more than capable of handling itself in a dogfight due to its speed and maneuverability, it lacks the considerable fire power of dedicated starfighters.
The concept for this vessel came from a desire rather than a need. Originally designed as a heavy bomber and stand alone interceptor vessel, further modifications have led to it being produced in a manner that allows it to not only stand alone, but carries a ground capable strike force in the form of the pilot and added droid security.
The intent behind this addition of super battle droids is not only for security, but also as a quiet and discreet means of dispatching a small force to a strategic location at a moments notice. With a commendable pilot, or a group of them being deployed as a ground force for any number of reasons, the groups may well be able to take hold of a strategic point well ahead of their reinforcing parties behind them.
While not as focused as some other vessels within the confederacy, the simplicity of this vessel makes it easy for the relatively inexperienced pilots to learn quickly. The weapons aboard are simple in concept given the forward firing arc, requiring the vessel to be on the tail of an enemy vessel, and are not the standard laser cannons found upon most vessels. Maser lasers add kinetic damage on top of the normal damage provided and give what limited firepower the ship has an added bit of kick. While on the ground, a small modification in the form of a self-defense system using a ground blaster cannon provides a form of protection while waiting for the droids to deploy.
While not the most glorious of the confederate vessels, a distinct break from the usual lends itself to a tacit use of sneak tactics in lieu of, or paired with large grandiose battle schemes.
