Positively Shakespearean..........or not.

Vengeance sat at a table in the back corner of a Cantina on a random backwoods world nobody cared about. He sipped some tea wearing a business suit a far cry from the Sith robes he normally wore. Frankly he was not so much trying to blend in as he was trying to not look like a Sith Knight. It was a very unusual circumstance that brought him here.

A few days earlier he had sent out a series of encrypted messages to have an old acquaintance [member="Darth Venefica"] meet him here. Despite her being declared a traitor and the potential accolades of delivering her head to the Dark Lord he only wanted to talk. More importantly to get her side of the story and with any luck a small measure of understanding regarding the why and how she had done the things she had allegedly done.

It was also why he had chosen the location he did. It was for the moment under the Dark Lord's radar and therefore a relatively safe place to meet Venefica.

There were very few worlds in the galaxy her barefeet walked upon, but the planet she was visiting now held a name that only a Wookiee could pronounce; and that involved alot of howling and grunting. But names, like faux titles bestowed upon the unworthy, meant nothing to her. During her time with the OS, she had laid waste to planets in the name of the Dark Lord, their Dark Lord. During her tenure, she witnessed how so many uneducated fools flocked to a cause that they believed was the right definition of a Sith.
The promise of power, real or fake, always held an appeal to those that craved the fast track.
If the necromantic Sith from the swamps still believed in the cause, she might still wage war as their ally, but because she refused to listen and abide by laws that essentially stripped the Dark Lord's power and spread it around to those that called themselves Wills, and not being stripped of her accomplishments and branded a traitor because she was, afterall, an individual with free will; she might have forgiven them. Had she known in hindsight that they, the OS, wanted factory created Sith who took words as fact, she would have forgone her Vahla genes and became a Jedi.
So here she was, standing on a cold metal platform on a backwater planet defending her actions to a Sith. But this Sith was not like those Sith, he craved truth and understanding why she openly challenged the strongest force in the galaxy; and still lived to defy them.
[member="Vengeance"]

Vengeance looked up as [member="Darth Venefica"] came into view. He stood giving her a nod of his head before he spoke.

"Was not sure if you would come or not." "I was hoping you and I could talk?"

He offered her the seat across the table from him at the booth.

"Can I get you anything to drink." "I must apologize for the location." "I know it is not appropriate for someone of your station but I didn't want us to be interupted by any opportunist with designs of furthering position by taking you down."
