Alicia did not pretend to know where the investigation, following the attack, had led to. She didn't have many contacts in the Galactic Alliance, and asking Jedi Master Taeli Raaf about it invited suspicion, so she hadn't got in contact. As for the Naboo, she hadn't made any inquiries with Lady Cardei or her aide, [member="Lady Shambleau"]. Despite the Praesidium shield, Chandrila DataTech had no real reason to inquire, except perhaps for security concerns, and Alicia knew that the Naboo were an isolationist people, so outside questions tended to be ignored, particularly given the nature of the attack.
Through simple logic and deduction, Alicia reasoned that the attack coincided with the Galactic Alliance's presence and found dominion over the Naboo. She could also guess that both sides could reason that the Royal Family had also been the target. With this in mind, Alicia had returned to the Naboo cautiously. The Gathering on Sojourn had been a success, with the Praesidium shield unveiled to Alicia's guests. Shambleau, who had been in attendance, no doubt returned to Naboo with a report, indicating that the shield was complete. All that was required was the delivery.
A single Acavus-class bulk cruiser dropped out of hyperspace in the Naboo system, relaying codes to the Naboo Starfighter Corps that stated it's business. On board was the Naboo's own shield- one of three currently in existence- that was to be installed as per the prerogative of the Naboo and the deal they had struck with Chandrila DataTech and their associate, Camellia Swift. With Taeli in attendance on Sojourn, her stock in DataTech and member of the Alliance, she was naturally informed of the upcoming installation, as was Camellia (who had helped invent the technology), Ajira Cardei (who had brokered the plasma deal), Shambleau (Ajira's aide) and members of the Royal Family, who had given go ahead for the project.
