HISTORY
Born from the slums of Lianna, Praxley bel Vernnos grew up in a harsh world of crime and desperation. Orphaned at a young age, he survived as part of a gang of slumrats, but his true passion lay in music. Crafting melodies with a makeshift electro-twang guitar, he blended raw street energy with sophisticated sounds like jatz and B’ssa nuuvu. His talent caught the attention of Neimoidian showman Toom Pakkah, who whisked him away from the slums and rebranded him as Prax Elvros. Under Pakkah’s management, Prax gained fame for his unique musical fusion, though he quickly began to resent his manager’s greed and exploitative control.
As Prax’s fame grew, so did tensions with Pakkah. The Neimoidian used Prax’s streetwise image for profit while pocketing the majority of earnings, leaving Prax feeling manipulated and powerless. Their relationship reached a breaking point one fateful night when Prax killed Pakkah during an argument, taking control of his career. With his newfound independence, Prax secured a residency in Canto Bight, where his performances became legendary, drawing both the elite and the criminal underworld. However, music was only part of his vision—he used his connections to build the Cantonica Kings, a criminal syndicate specializing in smuggling and illicit operations.
Though not as powerful as the Hutts or Pykes, the Kings dominate a significant portion of Canto Bight’s underworld, with Prax essentially owning several high-profile territories. Clad in tailored suits and exuding charisma, he is a paradoxical figure: a celebrated artist whose music carries echoes of his humble beginnings, and a ruthless kingpin whose empire thrives on manipulation and fear.
