STAR COMMUTER SHUTTLE #2436
OPEN SPACE
Star Commuter Shuttles were never Ghorua's favorite mode of transportation. Besides the fact they were usually far too cramped for his frame, one never knew what crazies would be sharing the shuttle with him.

Ghorua the Shark had gotten on the shuttle through it's cargo hold, which was more of a ramp into the cabin, and sat down against the far back wall. As expected, the shuttle didn't have any seats large enough for the Bounty Hunter.

The Shark was on a round trip. His old ship, the Whalebone, was currently being dismantled by a few friends. Ghorua was preparing to purchase a new ship, one more of his size. This was fine, but Ghorua was left with no transportation for a month or so. That meant the Herglic had seen more shuttles than he'd like to. He huffed through his blowhole as the last of the passengers boarded, and the ship began standard take-off procedures.

This particular transport was headed from Courscant to Bakura. Why he found himself going to Bakura was a bit embarrassing. Ghorua had grown quite fond of Sapir tea, and the best place to get them is Bakura. Considering he was on a bit of a hot streak concerning credits, he could afford to take a trip to the planet for that sole reason.

The transport shuttle rocketed out of the atmosphere of Courscant, and into hyperspace.

Ben followed the slow moving line of passengers onto the transport shuttle between Coruscant and Bakura until he reached the cabin. There were few open seats, but luckily a massive Herglic huddled against the back wall had discouraged some passengers from the back seats. Ben was a small man, and he didn't mind the crowding. He slipped into a seat in the back and reclined in the chair. He had grown accustomed to commuter transit since leaving the Order. He never had a ship of his own, and Ben was used to moving in crowds.

The young Jedi had grown up on Coruscant, and he had made a point to visit since learning that it was no longer controlled by the One Sith. At one time, Ben had planned to infiltrate One Sith space to check on his parents, but since the Alliance took over, it had become much easier for Ben to travel freely into Coruscant. On this trip, he had found evidence that his family may have fled to Bakura in the wake of the fighting. He hoped his trail wouldn't go cold there, as he had little to hold on to since going into self-imposed exile. Finding his parents was one of the only missions of any concern to him.

Ben glanced out through the side of his eye at the huge man in the back of the shuttle. No amount of puffing would make Ben feel anything but minuscule next to the Herglic. Ben turned quickly, lest the Herglic notice him staring. He did not look like the kind of person one gives funny looks to and gets away with it.

As the shuttle shot into hyperspace, Ben closed his eyes in an attempt at meditation or sleep.
