Intent: Develop a unique set of light armor that builds on the theme of the Techno Union, the Obsidian Knights, and imparts some technomancer flavor to my character.

Manufacturer: [member="Sor-Jan Xantha"]

Model: N/A

Affiliation: The Techno Union (Obsidian Order)

Modularity: Yes (see special features)

Production: Unique

Material: Armorweave (underlay), Glistaweb, Molytex, Neo-Leather, Flexisteel

Classification: Multipurpose

Weight: 2.4 kg (without armaments), 11 kg (plus remotes and weapons)

Quality:
Melee (Blunt Force) 1
Lightsaber 1
Anti-Blaster 4
Anti-Ballistics/Piercing 4

Special Features: Modular components. The armour suit has data and power running through it, and has a standard fit for adding Obsidian Order approved components. Those components comprising Sor-Jan's armor are described in detail below the description.

Description: Based on the standard template for the Technomancers of the Obsidian Order, the Jedi Exile known as Sor-Jan Xantha designed a suit that was practical for his lighter weight and lower body mass. The suit omits any duraplast, armorplast, or durasteel plating, dramatically reducing its weight while maximizing flexibility. Molytex is used for the underlying bodyglove, with armorweave and flexisteel providing layers of insulation and protection. The inclusion of Sor-Jan's Warden Cloak in the design adds additional protection against lightsabers, due to the cortorsis dust impregnating the material.

The suit was not sealed against vacuum and did not include a full face mask or any respiratory support. In mild to cold environments, the heat generated by the suit's power supply also supplied warmth to the body core; however, in extremely hot climates the suit could be unbearable to wear for the same reason.

The suit, whilst shielded to some extent, is vulnerable to direct EM attacks, such as Ion weaponry. As all components are integrated, loss of the main power supply, or damage to the data and information transport fabric can render all systems inoperable.

The power system of the suit is also complex and requires regular maintenance. A long time in the field can lave systems damaged or inoperable. The batteries included can only power a full suite of systems for forty-eight hours without recharge. Leaving just the standard systems running extends this to ninety six.
