After the intensity and stress of the two liberation operations that she had taken part in on Morcanth and Zosha, during which she was shot over three times, Hanna eagerly awaited the opportunity to return to Scintilla to take advantage of her leave. Eve had grown much bigger since she had left for her deployment. Within the span of a few weeks, the city had become more lively and populous as the influence of the Agents of Chaos slowly increased. New venues, clubs, and entertainment centers had opened their doors to service the millions of fresh-faced transplants and visitors who had arrived in Scintilla on business. The artificial world’s flourishing perpetual wartime economy provided seemingly unlimited opportunities for investment and entrepreneurship in almost all fields. After all, the Wild Hunt required a large and complicated logistical supply chain for weapons, equipment, ships, medicine, rations, amenities, and more. For every single Hunter or Huntress serving on the frontlines, five individuals (or droids) worked in various military support fields to support their activities.

The fact that so much money, energy, and time went into supporting the Wild Hunt had initially been jaw-dropping to Hanna, but she quickly realized how necessary all of it was. However, she also knew of the importance of rest and recovery, especially after fighting in the front lines of a long campaign which saw the liberation of two worlds.

After spending most of the afternoon putting on makeup, doing her hair, and grooming herself for a night out on the town, Hanna took a taxi to the Blue Fire Nightclub with a small group of girlfriends from the barracks that she barely knew. As such, she did not expect them to be of much help to her if she got intoxicated or incapacitated. However, they did provide a reassuring form of security in numbers. In spite of the fact that she was a capable frontline Huntress, Hanna was aware of the fact that most men and women could overpower her due to her small size, if she was caught without a weapon. Since the biggest weapon that she could fit in her purse was a small vibro-pocket knife, Hanna knew that she would need to rely on her girlfriends for protection from any ravenous predators that sought to accost her without her consent.

After she entered the club, Hanna followed her girlfriends to the dance floor and eagerly began to put on a show to an upbeat sparkle-bop song. Though she was not a good dancer by any means, Hanna knew how to move her body in such a way as to draw attention and to emphasize the shapely contours of her form. In spite of her normally reserved, demure, and submissive manner, Hanna’s movements were not shy or restrained by any means. She felt a boost of confidence in seeing her girlfriends dance so freely, and so, she did not hesitate to do so as well...

The first night. What soft moon, like a lover's kiss. It felt not unlike true peace, and yet memories of laying waste to the wretched squander of her past and origin taint the experience. She is unfettered. She knows not how she can ignore her pain. The soaking blackness of the devolution of the soul would come for us all, and though The Wolf ran, She was still the filth which they gorged from their rotten spirits. Somehow, as her billowing strength carried her through this trek of cataclysmic bedlam, The huntress was weaker than before. Too fearful to confide, too agonized and comfortable with misery to waive her shame and look past her endless supply of doubt.

Though none of this would read upon her visage. She would forever be a chiseled, hand crafted instrument of wrath, hell bent on complete obliteration of those who dared to wrong The Allfathers. But she is forced to admit, this petrifying fear, this grotesque anxiety, it fuels her in ways she never knew before touching this particular world. No matter how deadened her senses were, even her intuition could be touched upon by whatever sacred core pumped the exquisitely immaculate and poisonous city with its deviant life source. The wolf is intrigued, but the seed is so diminutive she cannot provide faith that it will survive.

She dreamed of weanling lambs eternally laid to rest, having to face the brightness of the sun with looming thoughts of dark impulse and androgynous, elusive desire. Upon this world there was a vibrancy attempting to access her aural systems, something vivacious and neutral, terrifyingly not unlike her own quietly seething impetus.

Her fear...it came from a place she had tried to bury recently. The loss of her people haunted her so vividly that the sheer thought of them made the woman feel as if he heart stopped and she temporarily fell to death herself...somewhere within her she knew she feared this place. The place the 'normal people' resided to live out their days of complacency.

She grimaced from behind those crimson lenses. Her bright intense gaze focused on the establishment before her as the crowd stirred all around her. The wolf stood among a herd of sheep, standing over most of the crowd as her fist clenched tightly again and again, gripping the rosary beads entangled around her forearm and within her hand. A soft voice suddenly muttering into her ear from behind.

"So many sheep, oh hunter mine...may i fill them with teeth?" The voice would ask with a deep growl, making Vanya snap out of her trance like state before closing her eyes and taking a breath. Chuckling in amusement while tilting her head and examining the exterior of the club.

"Oh nonsense darling you just ate, behave yourself~" She would reply bluntly, lifting a hand and adjusting the coat that hung around her shoulders as the sleeves fluttered slightly in the breeze behind her. Exhaling phantoms from her breath as the cold air made ghost of them~

"Ok how about one bite?" He asked more insistently.

The question made Vanya chuckle darkly, shaking her head as she begun to venture forward through the crowd. .

"I said behave or no dinner later~" She would muse before looking over her shoulder towards the wolf shaped shadow connected to her own. "Besides, mommy needs to express some rage~" She would coo, the aura she radiated practically impalpable as she weighed her head back and forth.

The shadow stayed quiet for a long moment before breaking the silence. "A lick?." The shadow would ask. The statement forced a hearty laugh to erupt from her lips as she threw her hands into the air in a dramatic shrug.

"Oh to hell with it. Za, vwhy not? Only one though za? Choose wisely~" She teased as the lady in black casually strolled into the club. Blaring music and flashing lights threatening to daze and confuse her had it not been for those protective frames that shielded her eyes. A toothy grin spread across her coal colored lips as the mysterious figure strolled with a visible skip in her step. A number of scents and such wafting into her nostrils and igniting her instinct to hunt as a lovely scent tingled in the back of her throat.

She licked her lips hungrily and sniffed at the air as her shadow whispered to her again.

"This one smells it too. Can i find it?" He asked curiously. Vanya pausing in the middle of the Club and looking around slowly before giving a simple nod.

"To late~" She quipped as her ice cold eyes focused on a humanoid shifting back and forth on the dance floor. Her hunger emerging as a sudden thirst came over her, likely from her shadow radiating his own hunger and forcing it unto her. Vanya chuckled and slowly began to waltz forward while pursing her lips to let out a whistle. The tune slowly filling the room as the music deafened and withdrew into more of a background track. Dark energies radiating from the stranger as she closed in towards her prey very, very obviously. Moving through anyone in her way and phasing through a number of bodies until she was upon [member="Hanna"] , lurching downward and inhaling deeply before tilting her head curiously and smiling ear to ear. Her sharp, lengthy fangs on full display as The Wolf spoke to The Lamb.

"...Oh i simply adore your scent little lamb! What perfume do you use? Shampoo? Lotion? I am so curious!" She exclaimed excitedly like a giddy child as she quickly circled around the lass and reached out to rest her hands on her shoulders. "Do you have anymore? I'd love to add it to my collection~" She asked while lingering dangerously close to her neck.

It was a strong vanilla-jasmine scent that wafted from Hanna’s form as she danced, on account of the overly generous amount of perfume she had spritzed across her body earlier in the evening. On account of her virtually nonexistent sense of smell (a trait typical of her species), Hanna had simply sprayed the perfume until she finally caught a whiff of it. Unfortunately, for those around her who were subjected to her enticing, yet overpowering stench, their eyes would water and some of them would even succumb to the urge to cough. As the new girl in the group, Hanna was treated with a cautious kindness. For this reason, none of the girls had the gall to tell her that she had put on too much perfume. Eventually, their noses acclimated to the smell during the taxi ride to the club and the thought quickly disappeared from the center of the group’s unspoken hive mind.

The diminutive Qilin continued to dance, blissfully unaware of the approaching huntress seeking to feed on her life force. Her motions were swaying and sensual, broad hips gyrating from side to side in beat with the music as she waved her arms awkwardly above her head. It was only when the predator was breathing down her slender neck did she perceive her presence.

Hanna immediately turned to face the direction of the voice. When she saw the pale and busty figure of the fanged creature standing before her, initially, she could only react with shock.

“Eeek!” Hanna squealed, as the woman’s fanged visage came into view. “Gosh, I’m sorry!” She added, in an attempt to rectify the situation and to calm her nerves. The woman certainly had a striking appearance, but she did not seem to be her any harm. If anything, she seemed quite flirtatious to Hanna. Fortunately (or unfortunately), the diminutive Qilin was open to reciprocating an advance from such a darkly mysterious and pulchritudinous woman.

“I’m uhh-well, wait you asked about my perfume, yes? It’s a vanilla-jasmine scent. I forget the brand but I do have more at my place…” Her voice trailed off in a teasing manner. “But anyways, you’re like totally the first person to comment on it tonight! Thank you so much! I saw like three people cough around me earlier when I walked past them and I got self-conscious and thought that I had put on too much! But, I guess it’s just perfect!” She exclaimed cheerfully. "Also, I'm Hanna, by the way. What should I call you?" The Qilin asked as she innocently tilted her head to the side.
