Carith walked into the gardens of the Voss Academy, anxious for what was to come. The gardens were very peaceful and serene. Many Jedi would come into this place to meditate or get their mind off things. It felt removed from the pain, war, and conflict of the galaxy. Carith didn't doubt that the garden's natural comfort was a reason this meeting place was chosen. See, Carith had finally been assigned a master. He wasn't given much information though. He wasn't sure who it was or why he was chosen, but that did bother him as these two things would be clear to him in time he was sure. He had arrived early, not knowing what his new master's timing habits were like. So being early was just a way of being safe.
He walked towards the pre-determined meeting spot. He was told to meet at one of the many fountains in the garden, this one being made of Wayland marble. Reading the plaque, it seemed to be built to honor the old Jedi Order of the Galactic Republic, his old home. Can't be a coincidence, he thought. Noticing he was alone, as his master at not yet arrived, he sat at the nearest bench and observed the fountain, watching the ways the water flowed. He calmed his mind and patiently awaited for the arrival of the individual who would most affect the next chapter of his life.
