STRENGTHS

• Armoured Bracer - The shield is designed to be incorporated into armoured gauntlets or as a standalone bracer making it compatible with most common armours.
• Energy Dispersion - Incoming energy is spread across the shield reducing the impact on kinetic forces against the wielder.
• Hardened Barrier - The Shields barrier is not incorporeal and can be used to perform shield bashes against opponents while active. This comes at the expense of integrity.

DESCRIPTION
Designed originally for use by specialised Novean security details, the Preserver is a personal combat shield that exchanges 360-degree protection for a hardened directional shield in a similar vein to those famously utilised by Gungan warriors. Commonly used by specialised military and security forces, including boarding units, and specialised law enforcement, who favour its versatility over traditional personal shields.

The shield has a 'kite' design, providing enough cover to protect the upper or lower body against attacks. If necessary, users can 'deploy' the shield providing themselves or anyone else with a piece of static cover.
