A new venture for Priddy General Engineering and Manufacturing to not only sponsor, but produce their own private security company in response to realizing their lacking ground force capabilities. In the past relying on friendly governments to provide a security detail to those within the PGEM company. The decision to move forward with such an idea was made after an attack on Naboo in which the Corporate Executive Officer was made to realize how dependent they were of outside forces after having to rely solely on minimally effective combat droids produced by the company. Making great efforts to provide security initially for the company, the idea was made to allow for private contracting with the idea as well.
Realizing the necessity of having dedicated security forces instead of relying on government bodies to protect its interests, PGEM made great efforts to not only provide for but produce a private security company that could respond to those friendly with Priddy General Engineering and Manufacturing. This decision coming off the heels of an attack that happened on Naboo before the Corporate Executive Officer was attempting to meet with those on Naboo about further PGEM involvement. Forming Priddy General Securities as a stop gap in the meantime to reduce the cost of supplying a separate entity with good and materials when the company had no input besides what credits allowed.
Drawing from all walks of life, PGSC aims to provide not only it's own with focused security measures, but those friendly with the company as well.
