- On the Fly: The Primaris Construction Droid can be easily refitted in the field, allowing a single droid to complete numerous different tasks with various equipment at a moments notice.
- Hardy: The Primaris Construction Droid, given the environment it works in, is built very heavily and sturdy, allowing it to survive extensive damage and still return to work.
- Power Hog: Powering all the equipment, and a focus on quantity over quality, the Primaris Construction Droid has poor battery life, forcing the units to be recharged every four hours.
- Unarmed: The Primaris Construction Droid is not designed for combat in any sense, lacking any ports or programming to use them.
- Hive Mind: The Primaris Construction Droids do not have individual programs, instead they are all connected to the command work station that deployed them. Sentient workers at this station are able to give each droid its construction orders. If the command station loses power or is destroyed, all the Primaris units connected to it will shut down.
The Primaris Construction Droid is the primary work force of the Castellax Foundation's urban construction initiatives. After a falling out with the biological workers of his fathers company, many of whom refused to follow Rycherd into the larger business world, he was forced to turn to an alternative to meet his construction contracts. To minimize costs, each unit was built to be able to complete multiple tasks, and having them all connected to a single control program cut the cost for programming each droid. A recurring issue with all models has been the power requirement for the Primaris Droid, with no solution yet found by Foundation engineers.
