Prime Evil?

Sasha Santhe

Sasha Santhe was on Bastion. She hadn’t been here for a long time, not since she was a girl. The Imperials here had always held Santhe in high regard, and when Sasha was present always referred to Lady Santhe in the most respectable of terms. There were other in charge now, and gone was those days and a new landlord controlled the system.

Santhe’s small Challenger ship (brought to you by Santhe) gracefully flittered across the sky following the course given to her by the fortress world's air traffic control. Sasha slowed the craft as she approached the landing pad and gently let the craft down.

The woman had heard few things about the inheritors of Bastion. Zealots was first to come to mind. Sasha furrowed her brow and wondered how a negotiations would go with such people. If [member="Gerion Ardik"] was to be believed the Primeval were primed to tear up the north west fringe of the galaxy and might soon even be on the doorstep of Lianna.

Exiting the ramp Sasha was met with the honor guard, she smiled her famous smile that made her popular with the paparazzi. It was a smile long practices to appeal to a wide audience. “Hello,” she said sweetly, “Sasha Santhe, here to see[member="Anja Aj'Rou"].”

Bastion was as secure as worlds came, living up to its namesake the former capital of an empire remained one of the most defensible worlds in the galaxy; equal if not greater than Coruscant in those regards. It may not have been an economic or political centre in the same capacity that Coruscant was, but few in the galaxy have not heard of the world.

Santhe was approached by several guards in service to the Host Lord, their black, masked armour stood out from the various personnel that maintained the landing pad. Only rarely was anyone granted clearance to land on the world and it was only due to her heritage and prominence that The Primeval were remotely interested in meeting with this otherwise galactic celebrity. Still; what little they did know of her was that the company she owned was renowned for their technological accomplishments, innovative genius, and sheer determination to survive as competitors around them fell.

One guard of the many took the most steps forward, "your arrival was anticipated, the Host Lord will see you immediately." He turned around in a complete 180 without a further word or acknowledgement of her existence; instead he marched towards the door--expecting her to follow--as the other guards formed a pathway for her to journey down.

From there they'd enter the Imperial Palace located in the heart of Ravelin and through various halls and corridors until they arrived at a very particular chamber. It was a meeting room in which the Fel Emperors had met with various dignitaries, ambassadors, and officials in discussing affairs between their camps. The door slid open and the escort stood aside to allow Lady Santhe entry into the chamber, inside their was a large table in the center with a woman at one end and an open chair at the other. Imperial emblems still remained intact on the walls as well as other styles that are remnants of its former allegiance.

Anja's pale-blue eyes glanced up from a datapad on the table, locking onto the young woman's face, "please have a seat," her hand gestured to the empty chair. Approaching from a door behind Anja was a young girl carrying a tray of water, she reached for a glass and placed it directly in front of Sasha before coming back and placing in one in front of Anja. The witch folded her hands on the table, her empty eyes hadn't left the young woman in all this time, a certain focus seemed to be looking through her rather than upon her.

As was polite and courteous Sasha accepted the seat and then the drink. The Imperial palace on Bastion was much how she had previously seen it. The emblems of the various Empires that once occupied the fortress still hung on the walls. It was all a bit silly how many times the planet had changed hands in the last few years. “It is a pleasure to meet you,” Sasha said to the Host Lord. “I have come, as you have been notified and would suspect, to do some business.”

“There is history in these halls. Much of that history relates to my corporation. It is an ancient company with a reputation for reliability. A reputation that many would take advantage of.”

Shrugging she thought about the situation, there was plenty of products that the Primeval could take advantage of. From fighters, to starships Santhe had it all including an array of transports and gunships designed to ferry troops and material across a battlefield.

Sasha’s dark eyes met [member="Anja Aj'Rou"]'s vacant orbs. “I have a catalog with me, and also a few schematics that might be of interest to you.” Sasha had been looking for prospective clients for a certain project. Sasha sipped the glass of water. She wished it was whiskey.

Anja nodded, "Of course; I've heard much about your company's history and I'm sure your catalog would be most informative." The Host Lord lacked no sense of formality in such affairs but at the same time it wasn't that she intended to be formal. Anja wasn't a socialite, she wasn't an ambassador or politician, and she surely wasn't an executive officer with some corporation.

Yet what she was, was someone who understood the necessity of cooperation for the success of endeavors. She knew that the one greatest thing in the galaxy was mutuality... Someone wanted something you had, and if they had something in return both had an opportunity to gain. Far more beneficial and less troublesome than the way most people did things in the galaxy; traitorous nations ran amok and somehow they never believed their reputation would be held accountable.

"Bastion's doors remain open to you as long as we stand on common ground," she added.

“I am pleased to hear that miss Aj’Rou,” Sasha smiled and nodded. “You see, I am a simple business woman. I buy for a credit and sell for two.” Then there was a pause, “Well actually I buy for seven credits and sell for around nine to ten… but my profit margins are hardly the point. I have a competitive product at fair market price. More than fair in some cases. In addition to that I often make products particularly for government contracts.”

Sasha quickly deposited a datapad between her and [member="Anja Aj'Rou"] revealing plans for something new. “I have already create an initial schematic for your approval. As you can see I am serious about doing business with you and yours.”

A streamlined design met the woman as she feasted her eyes upon the datapad’s content. “An Elegant vessel, yet deadly. I believe it represents you rather well.”
