Tennacus watched the sun go down for the seventh time on Kinoss. The Viper Probe Droid had been out exploring since dawn, scouring the alien planet vigorously for any signs of life around them. Tennacus had vaulted himself across the planet, too, only in the guise of a Force Wraith while he sat placidly before the dying flames of a campfire deep in the valleys. Tennacus didn't believe in getting caught by anyone he didn't want to find him; recent mistakes had cautioned him to stay on guard. He thought that as a wraith he might find something that was allured to his use of the Force. Something that might reach out to him, seeing that he was at one with it as they were.

But nothing. The Viper Probe returned to the campsite, too, whining and whirling in dissatisfaction. Tennacus wasn't disappointed in the droid, in any case; it was designed to do what it was made to do, so if it couldn't accomplish a task it was down to its maker to hold the blame. Right now, Tennacus was the only one who could account for the mistake. He'd modified it for his own purposes, and it had failed. Perfection's a marathon, not a sprint, Tennacus thought. Although Kinoss was beginning to feel a little tedious at this point.

See, Tennacus was searching for something — more like someone. Someone that credits couldn't seem to buy. Someone who perhaps didn't want to easily be found. It made sense to value such discretion; if Tennacus was right in what his intuition told him, this person didn't want to be grossly famous. Infamous, perhaps, if they were affiliated in the Dark Side as he had come to presume.

Despite valuing his own discretion, Tennacus didn't hide his affiliation to the Dark Side. Instead he closed his eyes on that now darkened world, and he let the Force exude from him as if it were a breath. The world went quiet around him, only his breath rasping through the ventilator on the mask plated around his mouth. Then the sounds muffled as he delved into the Force, hoping to make himself more communicative.

“You know, there are better ways to try and get in touch with someone on a planet like this.” A cool female voice said with a bit of reverberation. Were the Sith to take a look, he would notice the shadowed form of Onrai, glistening eyes looking back at him. "Especially the someone who calls this world their own. I am Onrai, Queen of the Stars and the goddess of this world. For what reason have you come to this world? To supplicate yourself to me? To pray for a blessing? Please, tell me what it is you desire to do." The motivations of people who came to her world were widely varied. What it was he wanted was unclear.

After all, she wasn't a mind-reader.

Tennacus broke concentration at the sounding of a voice. His eyes opened, averting to the source where he basked in the shadow’s grace. It seemed that discretion was still being upheld; Tennacus expected as much; he was a stranger, after all. He was lucky enough to have her reach out for him at all; even the droid chirped with a certain enthusiasm.

And it was apparent that the Dark Side moved with her. Tennacus stayed silent for a moment, merely watching — contemplating; feeling. Maybe she was just what he was looking for.

“I thought you might not show at all,” Tennacus said rather monotonously. He climbed up from his seated position, straightening his long grey trench coat with a dusting off his hands. Given who he was speaking to, formality would be appreciated.

“In any case, I’m glad to see that you came to my calling. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Onrai. My name is Darth Tennacus, a Sith representing the New Sith Order. Indeed, I have come here seeking something of you. But given that we have only just met, you might not be as eager as to simply give it away.”

"I am everywhere and nowhere." She said. "To go from existing in one place to existing in many at the same time is not an experience one gets into that easily. But to those who are interested, I will always come." That was at least somewhat the truth. With multiple avatars and a singular mind keeping them all active, the strain was almost maddening, easily breaking down a singular sense of self were one to retain mortal outlooks on faculties.

"What is it you seek of me?"

With a wave of his hand, Tennacus ordered the Viper Droid to power down. For his own security measures, the Droid was in a constant state of recording visual footage whenever Tennacus embarked on a venture. But this part required discretion, deniability and trust. Aspects that seldom appeared in the Galaxy.

"There are only so many beings in the Galaxy that can uphold the promise of power which reverberates into the future. Most pass out of knowledge and memory in an age like fleeting shadows, unable to leave a legacy suited to their name. But I am confident that a Goddess of your stature can help achieve something extraordinary - to create life that is unique in both power and ferocity."

Tennacus retrieved a Holo-pad from his coat pocket and pinched the side of the machinery to conjure a holographic image. The vista of an entity morphed out of the luminous blue light, portraying a wicked, snarling thing clad in a black exoskeleton, donning an elongated skull and tail crowned with a narrow point. It was not often that the creature showed up; but in archives, it might have been referred to as a Xenomorph.

"I'm looking to build on the genetics of this creature and splice it in order to create something that would be beneficial to our order. An intelligent, yet tamed warrior - or perhaps several - that would serve us as we see fit. I have long succeeded in generating numerous Sithspawn of this species to aid us in our endeavours that have proved useful; however, for this particular experiment I require the essences of more suitable candidates. Candidates who carry a uniqueness about them - such as those who are perceived as Gods, Goddesses and primordial beings of power. If you were able to aid me in this task and offer up some of your own essence, I am confident that you and I could create life unparalleled in its existence."

"So you came to me in order to get my power to assist you in your creations." She said. "That seems so... so base." Onrai sighed.

"If you are looking for something unique to add to your cocktail, perhaps the essence of a dead god is better for you than that of a living one. For that, we would need to take somewhat of a trip."

Tennacus studied her for a moment, questioning the informality of her reference. He might have questioned it verbally had her proposal not intrigued him.

"A dead god," he repeated. "That might depend on what warranted their death - whether they were slain because they were weak, or simply drifted into eternal slumber through age and decay. Weak candidates would be questionable."
