- Combat Function: Lorcan's primary function is that of a fleet commander, and as such he's most comfortable when stationed on board his flagship in order to allow him to properly command his ship, his fleet, and the supporting elements involved with his command as well. On the rare occasion when he's faced with a direct threat to his life, his preferred method of threat elimination is via a reliance on his personal guards, of which he keeps a generous amount of them on standby.

- Prideful with a hint of hubris; He's a Serennoan through-and-through, and as such he possesses the pride and hubris that comes with his heritage along with his station.
Born the eldest of three sons to Alistair and Victoria Dooku, Lorcan is the most influential of the Dooku brother in regards to both Serennoan and local Imperial politics. He was groomed by his grandfather for a life in the military from a young age, and he began his career as a military officer at the age of 18 as a junior officer within Serenno's system defense fleet prior to the subsequent occupation and annexation into the greater Sith Empire. He managed to avoid the altercations between the Empire and Serenno's defense fleet thanks to the timely intervention of his grandfather, who arranged for the transfer of both Lorcan and his younger brother Augustus back to the safety of the Dooku estate on the planet.
Lorcan rose through the ranks not through nepotism, but instead through the means of meritocracy that the Serennoan military encouraged at the time. The strategic position of the planet had long encouraged piracy to be a constant plague on the system, and Lorcan made a name for himself as an efficient Pirate Hunter who managed to achieve victory after victory whilst simultaneously preserving the integrity of his own fleet. After his transfer into the overall Imperial command structure, Lorcan's reputation as an efficient commander brought him to the attention of his superiors within the Sith-Imperial Armada.
They arranged for his transfer to various commands across the Empire where his ability as a fleet tactician was put to the test against the enemies of the Empire. He achieved many victories over the myriad of factions that vied for dominance against the rising hegemony of The Sith Empire, and his combat record would reflect his ability as the Prince achieved higher stations within the Sith-Imperial Armada. He matured into a seasoned fleet commander that commanded total respect from the men beneath him, and he reached the prime of his career by the ripe age of thirty. He was a staunch Imperial by then, which left no doubt for any of his superiors to question either his loyalty or the efficacy he displayed in achieving victory over his enemies. By thirty-one he was promoted to the rank of Admiral, and with it a reassignment back his home-system of Serenno where he's been stationed at permanently ever since.
