Privateer Hoffman is a good pirate by heart to the point that when he was finally captured by the empire they gave him the choice of being an "unofficial privateer" for them or death! as you all know he definitely took the better option(which is his dream job by the way) and since then he has been a pirate for the empire. His pay is generated by unofficially raiding non imperial ships , this means for every ship he captured raided or destroyed "unofficially" he would get paid for that! no other dream came to mind!his men are storm-troopers trained for space warfare and small planet raid's ( meaning boarding parties, actual ship to ship combat or "search and destroy"consist's of planetary mission's like: hit and run's on a planet scale /smuggling missions/ rescue mission's) he is ruthless and fearless and will continue doing what he loves most being one of the most feared privateers around. along with this he tends to frustrate those attempting to defend against his annoying tactics because he will do loads of damage to his enemies and simply just run away. many describe him other than the empire as " a little pest that wont go away". but let me tell you " this pest" will be just like a bee if you get on his bad side it will burn bad!
