DESCRIPTION

The Pro-Pheromone Patch was designed to allow non-Zeltron and Falleen sentients to produce pheromones for a limited time. When the patch is applied, Zeltron pheromones are released into the target’s bloodstream and secreted by the user. It takes about 10 minutes for the patch to take effect, after which the controlled release of pheromones will occur. The patch must be kept on the user constantly for the pheromone production effects to be consistent. If the patch is removed prematurely, the effect will fade within minutes unless the patch is re-applied. The patch was created with humanoid physiology in mind, and thus releases a dose of pheromones proportional to that of the average Zeltron. Because the pheromones are released in a pre-determined amount, smaller species may experience a more concentrated effect while larger species may find the patch’s effects diluted, and may have to layer several patches to achieve the desired effect. Species or sentients who are naturally immune to pheromones will not be able to use this patch to produce pheromones themselves. Similarly, wearing anti-pheromone technology or taking an anti-pheromone drug can counteract the effects of the patch and render it useless. While wearing the patch, the user may experience some diluted pheromone effects and generally feel more relaxed. After a total of 12 hours, the effects of the patch will fade. It should be noted that while wearing this patch, the user has no control over the intensity of the pheromone excretion.

Does this have any influence on the people that use the patch? Like, do they get pheromone'd themselves because of it, either directly when its in their blood or when it gets excreted by them?

And how do they control the excretion? or does it simply start the radiate the pheromones once the ten minutes are done?

Added that they get vaguely pheromone'd while excreting the pheromones themselves.

The excretion is controlled by the patch, not the user. Added a sentence in at the end to explain that.
