Proceeding as Planned

CORONDEX OFFICE
VORZYD V

Corondex had finally been able to have their own office on Vorzyd V after numerous months of work. It had been a tough road and there was still much to do in this uphill battle. Nonetheless, he had not neither heart nor will to proceed. On the contrary, Vitor had become more and more ambitious with the more adversaries that appeared.

The restoration project that aimed to improve the lower levels of Vorzyd V and the working class planets of Vorzyd IV and III was going on well. Less obstacles now that the threat of Fator Hra was dealt with.

Thus, it was deemed that more players were needed to support this project. A salvaging company was summoned to meet with Vitor and introduce them to the large opportunities of scavenging tonnes upon tonnes of dumped material from the slums on Vorzyd V.

John Ash

Only by Fire do we become Ash.
An opportunity had arisen for Ashhearth Industries. Someone was trying to do a rebuilding or renewal or street rat elevation project on the planet Vorzyd V. John didn't know who this [member="Vitor Avendahl"] was or why he was doing this, but there was a promise of salvage and potential contracts. His company could always use more of everything, especially now that he had a few contracts signed for various products he sold. With that reason in mind, he had agreed to meet up with this Vitor and do some "charitable" work around the planet.

Ashhearth Industries was told to come in with only a single Scrapper frigate loaded up with two of their HSW. John had ordered this because he didn't want too commit too many resources just in case. It was also why he had arrived in his personal ship, the Blueshift, instead of coming in on his frigate. He got on the com system as both came out of hyperspace over the planet. He said over it to the captain of his frigate, " Stay in orbit. I will signal you with coordinates when information is exchanged. Avoid conflict if possible, but do not be pushed around too much. Signal me if you run into trouble." He got the confirmation and then continued on to the planet surface.

John entered the atmosphere and approached the city. As he came in close he signaled for coordinates from Vitor. He just began to slowly circle around as he waited for a response. He looked down at the city as he flew over it. He wanted to get a feel for what he was working with and see places he might want to go to. It was never a bad idea to gather information. Battles were won or lost because of it. Companies failed or grew off of it. Nations thrived or collapsed depending on it.

Ash's personal transport was given priority over the rest of the ships lined up by traffic control. It paid to have the right men at the right places. He would find the route transmitted to his ship clear and lacking traffic. It was the priciest lane on Vorzyd V. This was in no case a show of power or some sort of arrogance. No. Vitor simply preferred that things go to business as soon as possible. He was never a man for small talk or for needless obstacles to stand in his way such as traffic.

Coordinates were sent to the Blueshift and should the pilot follow them, the transport would reach a docking pad standing on top of a pile of junk. Beyond it - scrap as far as the eye could see. An ecumenopolis such as Vorzyd V offered great opportunities for companies such as Ashhearth Industries. Of course, it would be a lie if Vitor did not expect anything return and Mr. Ash would be a fool if he thought otherwise. Business relationships were always bilateral and Avendahl hoped he could find the opportunity to expand via Mr. Ash' company.

Should the Blueshift land successfully, Vitor would approach the man's transport with two Wraithguard escorts on both of his sides. Certainly not something he needed but having escort did feign a weakness that one was powerless and just a simple businessman.

John Ash

Only by Fire do we become Ash.
The place seemed to be industrialized but not in the good kind of way. There was far too much in ruin or disrepair which would explain any corruption that might exist. John wasn't entirely up to date on the inner workings of the government here but he imagined the ruling body would have to be corrupt to allow this level of squalor to be in place. The coordinates he needed came in rather quickly and so he followed them down to where he needed to go. The lack of traffic did not come as much of a surprise to him as the fact he was asked to land at a place filled with more scrap than he knew what to do with at the moment. Seemed this was going to be a fine day for some profit as a scrap yard like this was bound to have some hidden gems for his boys to find. He sent the coordinates for the field to his frigate and ordered them to be on standby above the field until he gave the signal. With all of that done, he landed his ship.

John had just gotten out of his ship when a man with a pair of guards walked up. This arrival had to be [member="Vitor Avendahl"] whom he was here to see. The man was dressed well enough for the part, but something felt off to John about the whole thing. A certain way the man stepped and carried himself that hinted at something more than what was being shown. This got a slight raise from his brow for half a second, but there was not enough evidence for John to go off of in judging the man. Instead he just walked up wearing his duster armor with a pistol holstered on each hip. As he approached he said, " I'm John Ash. You Vitor Avendahl?" Now it was time to wait and see how things went from here.
