Proceeding Forth

Vega waited ever so patiently for [member="Dar Moraal"] to touch down within the hangar and step out. Purple hues rolled over towards the window as she leant among the railings above the hangar, glancing at the mere dot in the darkness of space that was the fellow Sith's approaching craft. 'A strange Sith', She thought. 'He chooses to believe both the Jedi and Sith live to meet the same inevitable end. If that is so, then why does the great divide of the force separate the light from the dark?', Vega went on to think. It was all time-killing thoughts she mentally spoke and questioned of, though. Enough to fill her mind until he eventually came to touch down among a docking bay. Vega had already prepped each and every docking station to accept and acknowledge a second craft was incoming, meaning he could take his pick. Once he stepped out of his ship, Vega whistled down below, allowing the spacious hangar to carry her elegant and audible air to his acknowledgement. Hopefully he'd be quick and hear her before taking himself up the same stairs she did.

Dar walked slowly down the extension ramp flanked by two mercenary commandos both wearing identical armor with his personal insignia. He was proud of them. They managed to get two whole shots at him before he disemboweled them. Hearing her he looked up. "Greetings I hope I have not kept you waiting" With a nod both the commandos return to his ship. They learned too quickly to never hesitate when given a direct order. Leaping he used the force to extend his jump to more of a hover up to the platform where she resided. "Still believe the force to be black and white?"

[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"]

Vega grinned to his. . . presentation, stepping back from the railings with open arms as a mumbled but audible laugh escaped her. He certainly had a way of expressing his capabilities, didn't he? "The force could be black and blue right now, but it is two sides of the same coin. An elegant coin one must master both sides of - of course. The dark and light flow from the same source. How they are manifested depend on the emotions of the caster. But we can debate about that later - can't we? How about I show you around, before we go and do anything- let's say- chaotic?" Vega replied, amusement accompanying her lilt. She lowered her right arm, leaving out her left towards the door behind her. That was her requesting for [member="Dar Moraal"] to step inside before her.

Tilting his head at her chuckle and nodding as she said chaotic he walked through the door. "What I am trying to say is the force has no sides. Its just two ideologies with two different ways to fuel the same power source." This was his last word on the subject as he walked. He couldn't wait to get started. No matter how much the debate amused him to was time to get to business. Under his cloak he gripped his saber's handle with anticipation. Quite eager to work the trade you could say.

Vega proceeded behind him, deciding to eventually take the lead and guide him down the elegantly clean hallway in silence. After a good minute's walk, Vega halted in her tracks, stopping before a sturdy white door located on [member="Dar Moraal"]'s left, and now Vega's right considering she was facing him, scorched hands linked behind her back for the moment. "This is where I intend to take us first. I come here to train mostly in solitude; my recent companion, well, . . she's otherwise engaged elsewhere in the galaxy. Doing what she was built to do, one might say. Step inside." Vega eventually came to reply, ignoring his previous statement on the force. Maybe another time. A hand came from around her back; scorched digits tapped among the terminal on the wall alongside the door before a ring of elegance signified access. The door exhaled its air for decompression before sliding open. This time Vega entered first, switching on the dim lights which fairly illuminated the room to her eyes' content. It looked to be a dull room at first, floors covered with wires that were linked up to prototype synthetics which hugged their backs against the length of the walls. Thankfully, they were powered down.

"Welcome to the Vault's technological facility. Of course I don't train with all these wires around - oh no. The room ahead is more spacious and comforting for such a thing. But why I turned the lights on in the first place revolves around that. . . favor." Vega paused to turn and face the fellow Sith. "Are you preferring we only train, or do you wish to seize the technology I recommended? These are but merely two of the favors I request."

Dar glanced down at her. "I have in my spare time mastered the martial art form of Echani I can show you a few things, or me and my ship can get the tech I don't care which" He was still gripping the handles of his saber's. It was a habit. But not a bad one. "Of course I may even be able to sell you the tech. My master is the head and founder of a very prominent company and I am sure we can scrounge up the materials you requested." Waiting patiently for her answer under his cloak he tapped a button on his wrist. Just a precaution.

[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"]

He wasn't the very decisive type, was he? Vega remained silent while she listened to his offer, but she calmly refused the latter, gesturing her hand from side to side. "That's alright, I'm not looking into currently buying anything. I have 2,000 credits to my name, which I only achieved control over through thieving from the captain on Tatooine. To be honest, I'm attempting to make this place a black market trading post; however, that requires equipment. Equipment I wish to steal off the First Order and maybe modify. But I would like to experience this. . . Echani you speak of. Perhaps after exchanging knowledge to one another through the art of suppressed conflict we can move on to thieving off of the First Order." With that said, Vega spun on her heels and proceeded down the room to meet with the second door. Repeating the same password she inputted among the first door granted this one to open. Vega stepped inside, again first igniting the bulbs to illuminate the spacious room. One could tell it was once filled with terminals and machinery, but Vega flushed that into space after scrapping it for parts. Now rested a mere empty, and fairly dusty room. White smears among the tiles hinted recent activity within the room. That was Vega.

The Sith rose her hand as she walked into the center of the room, gesturing for [member="Dar Moraal"] to enter once he shut the door. "I sense your internal desire to reach for your weapons, but if Echani is in fact a martial art, it'd be wise not to result to the 'saber just yet. Now - let me learn from this art you speak of."

"It is a habit nothing more. Now the Echani are a near human species that resides in the outer rim. They have developed a very sophisticated style of combat. Which to them isn't just a method of self defense its a form of self expression. Of course I mastered this art because of my past criminal exploits I find it to be a relaxing way to pass the time." He demonstrated by shrugging off his cloak and he took several stances and repeated them several times before taking back his neutral stance.

[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"]

Vega kept silent in order to properly observe what he was doing. These stances he performed were not what she expected to see; she thought they were a martial art, not an act of pose. Nevertheless, she proceeded to watch him maneuver into each stance. Perhaps it was some way to loosen up one's limbs in order to perform the martial art? She'd ask, anyway. "I was under the impression this was a field of fighting - not posing. Is that how you prepare your limbs in order to perform the fighting art? If so, it's strangely interesting."

[member="Dar Moraal"]

"Yes it is but your question is a strange one. Typically stances are used in sequence or mixed all together. One can even create new stances to surprise the Enemy." This then showed her a sequence of stances but sped up like it would be in a battle. Also his mastery of the art made it seem to flow perfectly like a flowing river but relentless like a raging ocean. Then he sped it up via the force and it seemed to blur. Suddenly he stopped and turned to face her. "When I was learning the first form of saber combat my master had showed me stances as well."
[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"]

Vega stepped back to let him continue his demonstration of stances, eyes ceasing to fall out of sync with his maneuvering physique until he finished. From there she reached for her 'saber, coiling scorched fingers of a left hand around the hilt before placing her arm before her stomach. "Well then, [member="Dar Moraal"]. Instead of just mere observation, perhaps we can-" Pausing in her speech, the Sith flicked her wrist to ignite the shimmering blade of her weapon. It hummed to life elegantly. "-Proceed in practicing this art in a more - 'Simpler' - manner.

His curved saber activated, he then covered his left arm with lightening. It hurt and damaged his armor but it was a very useful power that he intends to utilize. Lunging at get he mixed his mastery of Echani with his basic knowledge of the first form switching and mixing the two. He also fueled his actions with the dark side performing several jabs with his lightening arm and slashes with his saber.
[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"]

At first Vega simply watched him execute his knowledge on the martial art. Sure, it was a strange way to motion the body, but it looked like it could be effective. Especially with the manifestation of lightning he performed; Vega was already beginning to learn something from this demonstration. Once [member="Dar Moraal"] instigated his jabs towards her, Vega maneuvered her figure to lean herself upon one leg at the first strike. From there she sprung off her heel, cycling her physique over the top of his weapon to touch down behind him. Her 'saber was already cast, so she swung the blade towards his back in an attempt to strike him. His armor would have most likely taken most of the damage if it was a success, but hey- it would still count as a success - right?

Dar liked this but it felt wrong to him... Anyways he suddenly crouched and used the force to deactivate her saber. A little trickery never killed anyone. Still crouched he kicked at her legs his lightening extending down his legs and to hers. Cunning and trickery are everything. Honor and glory are nothin if you are dead.
[member="Vega the Chaos Mage"]

Vega stumbled onto her back, a groan erupting from her as the lightning coursed through her legs. Damn, now she knew what foe felt like; the pain was quite astonishing. She had to do something quick, though; both her eyes and her skin were vulnerable to the heat and luminous light coming from the bolts. Despite the pain, Vega kept a focused mind, quickly realizing how the lightning among her limbs could benefit her. Because of his actions to electrify her, [member="Dar Moraal"] was dangerously close to her. As a result, she lifted her foot and struck his face with her sole in order to transfer the bolts to his metallic mask. Being an electrical conductor, it should have stalled him, giving her time to flip back onto her feet and cast her 'saber once again. Again she struck at him, only this time she threw her hand before her, tampering with the force in order to erupt an outburst great enough to throw him onto his back.

([member="Vega the Chaos Mage"] Yeah this is the one)
Dar felt no pain when she kicked him. But when the lightening connected to his helm it was excruciating. The smell of burnt flesh hung in the air and his enraged screams filled the room. It hurt so much so he wasn't prepared for the blast. As he landed on his back he realized his mistake and leapt back up. Using his pain to fuel his actions he hurled anything he could find at her and then lunged using his mastery of Echani to transform his movements to such a graceful flow it was akin to flowing water. Still it wasn't enough. He lusted for more knowledge. Wanting to master every martial art he first perfected this one. But to his eyes this was not enough. Nothing was ever enough. He would only stop till he had mastered everything he could. He wasn't sure but he could almost swear he howled was he was having this inner monologue.
