Dreadnaught - The Procurator is built on the all big gun policy loading out a formidable offensive weapons load for assault, and ship to ship battle.
Weaknesses:
Limited Defensive Weapons - The role of the Procurator is one of overwhelming offense and is equipped with a very limited defensive weapons complement.
Description:
Six large Neutron Matter cannons are equipped on the prow of the vessel, 3 to the port and 3 to the starboard along the rim axis. These are fixed emplacements and can only fire in the forward firing arc. Further adding tot he monstrous firepower of the vessel are the six heavy assault turbolasers spaced down the rim trench three port and three starboard two of which can fire in aft arc as well as the fore and broadsides. Six Mass cannons are positioned on the ventral hull along the rim forward of the command structure. Twenty turret mounted heavy turbolaser Turrets and ten heavy ion turrets are positioned on hull on the ventral and dorsal hull. rounding out the offensive weaponry are the twelve light turbolaser turrets for smaller vessels and attack craft.
The first production like consists of three Vessels, one will remain with IFW as its Flagship, One will go to the Directorate as part of the Directorate Defense Force, and one will go to the Chiss ascendancy for the CEDF use.
