Profile Picture

A lot of people have really good, artistic profile pictures, and I'm unsure where they got them from? Did you guys draw yours? I use mine from TOR, obviously, but what about getting a good picture of your character or something?

In some cases, yes, some people do draw their own. But you can request a profile picture right here.

I usually use google image search for art resources. I type in things like "Sith Warrior", "Sith Sorcerer", "Jedi Knight", or more out there things like "D&D Paladin" or "Chaos Warrior". Usually you can find some pretty awesome art out there using this method. After that I tend to edit the image a bit and give it a cool border or background in photoshop, something you can do yourself or request be done for you by someone with the resources to do so in the art sub-forum. Either post in one of the various threads if you like someone's style or make a new one for a more specific or unique request.

Depending on what you're looking for, adding "fantasy" to a google search can help tons. Ex: Fantasy warrior, fantasy swordsman, fantasy knight and all that.


Just make sure that safe search is on.
