Progress report

Mrrew's personal freighter entered the atmosphere of Alaris Prime, speeding over the vast forests of the moon, towards the coordinates it's pilot, Mrrew's astrodroid, was given. Almost a month ago, Mrrew had started construction of a new facility for the guild here, but with the recent setbacks, as well as Mrrew having to take a... leave of absence... has left the construction unsupervised, other then the Rodian contractor- Greeb Nib- who was in charge of the 110 droids Mrrew purchased... If all went well, the buildings should be finished by now, and ready for use. He'd allowed a budget of millions of credits for what was needed, and he did not expect to be let down. If it did go as planned, then expansion of the Guild was to come soon...

He wasn't let down. The freighter soon came over a large clearing, where the massive Worshyr trees thinned down. Where a few straggling trees and a layer of brush and small plants once stood, now stood the three large buildings that had been written up on the blueprints Mrrew had discussed with Greeb. Behind them, four large areas were fenced off by towering bars connected with durasteel chain links. The smallest building sat in front of the fenced areas, squat and low to the ground, reinforced with duracrete and durasteel bars. In front of that was the larger building, tall and wide, with agrinium roofing and siding. The Togorian smiled as he imagine dthe interior of the building, the way it was drawn out on the blueprints. If everything was as they had discussed, this facility would make millions for the Guild, and provide customers with something that thousands would want... Mrrew made his way to the rampway of his ship while it slowly began to descend into the front building of the facility.

As the ramp slid down to touch the small duracrete slab that served as a landing pad in front of the office, Mrrew stepped down, looking up as Greeb made his way over. He'd warned the Rodian he was coming to check on progress, and was met with suprise, but gradual excitement at being able to show off his project. Greeb was soon shaking hand with his boss, gesturing to the building behind him.

"Everything's gone perfectly! The shed and office are finished, and the fences are readied, and electrified! The main building just has some minor finishing touches to be completed, and everything will be finished!'"

The Togorian smiled at the contractor's enthusiasm, and nodded, gesturing to the office building. The Rodian caught on right away, and led the way down the duracrete walkway to the small office. "Right, right, you'll want to see! Right this way!"

Mrrew smiled as he walked straight through the doorway of the office, not having to stoop down as he would with most doorways. He made sure they widened and modified the doorways in the facility, to accomodate for... larger frames. He didn't spare many expenses. Greeb led him on a short tour through the little office, a desk where a droid will sit, taking calls and orders, a little office for Fossbon, and a few other common nessesities. Nothing out of the ordinairy. That's what the Main Building was for... Which the Rodian led him to, next.

The Main Building was a huge warehouse-like structure, held up by durasteel beams to leave a single huge room, measured 7000 by 9300 square meters, open for use. Durasteel plating on the interior of the building leaves the walls and ceiling durable against any... accidents... that may happen in the building, to make sure that the entire structure isin't brought down by a single raging rancor. Mrrew smiled as he looked around the huge area, noticinhg where teams of labor droids finished the 'last touches' Greeb described. Guard rails were being set up around the main enterence, which would holds transparisteel windows to guard onlookers from injury... And two massive doors were being set up on the far side of the building, so that animals could be taken in from the fences out back. Perfect.

The pair passed through swarms of labor droids constructing finishing touches, putting up guard rails, and spray painting white lines on the floor to designate sections, and strode through the huge hole in the wall where doors would be placed. This brought them to the back of the area, where small duracrete paths went around four large fenced areas, a large shed sitting off to the side. "We had some small issues with the beast enclosures, the droids didn't do the wiring properly... there was a small- err.... electrical explosion...." The Rodian glanced quickly at Mrrew, to search for any sign of blame, but gladly continued as he saw none. "But everything works perfectly now! A set of powerful generators in The Shed" Here, he gestured to the small building. "Supplies enough power ot keep all four fences electrified enough to stun an adult Bull Rancor, and even- per your request- has a much weaker backup generator... just in case." Mrrew nodded once more, looking up to the tall fences that surrounded the four enclosures. Once they actually contained animals, he'd have droids redy with tranqulizers, just in case they escaped somehow... Mrrew nodded to Greeb to continue the tour.

Last, but not least, was the shed. While the shed was fairly small compared to the other buildings, it was big enough to hold all of it's equipment as well as several people, by design. A blastdoor slid open to allow them enterance in to the low bunker-like building, and they stepped in. Most of the are inside was empty, meant for any supplies the facility might need. Food for the animals, training equipment, tranqulizer rifles, as well as enough dehydrated food and hydration pills for several days. That, of course, was the reason the shed was so heavily reinforced, built like a bunker; anywhere that deals with exotic animals always risks escape. And while the trainers and droids that will be employed at the facility will only be the best in their field- Mrrew had already hired them- even they might not be able to survive if a Leviothon, or a pack of Tuk'atas, escape. Hence why they had The Shed; to hide.

The rest of The Shed was taken up by the generators that gave power to the office, the lights in the Main Building, and the electrified fences. A matience droid would be kept in The Shed at all times, in case something were to happen to the generator... After the brief look-around of The Shed, the two stepped outside, where Greeb concluded his report; "The droids should be finished by nightfall, and the facility will be ready for operation!" Mrrew smiled, and nodded, before reaching in to one of the overlarge pockets of his gunbelt, and pulling out a datapad. A few moments later, the other half of Greeb's pay was transferred to his account. "Congratulations, on a job well done."

Mrrew strode back through the Main Building on his way back to the ship, glancing at the droids who were packing up the building supplies and getting ready to leave the constrution site. He'd given them orders to pack on the Guild headquarters ship when it landed, and it'd take them to the Rebel Base (the long route, of course, as not to be followed) to help out there until needed for anything else. One hundred and ten droids could be useful... Mrrew nodded at the nearest droid, who didn't seem to notice him, on his way back to the ship. The facility was finally finished- now he just had to arrange for the ones hired to maintain it show up. He hoped they were still interested in the job.

The Togorian sat back in his freighter, pokking the buttons on his comlink with an extended claw, trying to get the little buttons to work properly. After two failed attempts, one where he accidently called the delivery service for Pizza Hutt, and another where a Wookiee awnsered, he heard the familiar voice of Fossbon.

"The facility is complete. I've already given you the coordinates, you and your team are expected to arrive as soon as possible. We'll be compeltely functional to train beasts in a matter of days."

After a few moments of back and forth, and hearing that Fossbon and his crew will arrive shortly, the Togorian smiled and hung up the comlink. Or tired to anyway... he ended up accidently calling Pizza Hutt again... But eventually he managed to shut it off. By crushing it.

Mrrew glanced over at his astrodroid as it began to pilot the ship into the air. Hopefully this would mark expansion for the guild...
