Description

Project Gunstar is an internal corporate document that was produced for and disseminated among the Board of Directors and the upper echelon of management of Aether Systems. The document in question outlined Aether Systems stance in its ongoing support of the Galactic Alliance and its commitment to fully contribute its manufacturing capabilities to the production of Starships for the Galactic Alliance Defense Force. The document also outlined support for resistance and rebel forces outside of the Galactic Alliance's Territory and established a commitment to assist and further the objectives of those organizations.

Reception

The document is a well-kept secret and has only been disseminated in-house and only to a select few individuals to ensure that they were prepared for any potential questions or concerns brought up by other employees of the corporation. General support of the document has leaned towards acceptance due to its establishing a continued commitment to support the Galactic Alliance through the acquisition of additional Government Contracts and Sponsorship as well as keeping the bulk of Aether System's industry within the territory of the Galactic Alliance. Those few that voiced dissent were quickly quieted or relocated to newer facilities in the Deep Core to prevent the leaking of the document to the Holonet.

FORMAT INFORMATION

Project Gunstar is an Internal Corporate Document produced on no more than a handful of flimsiplast sheets that are held together with a binder clip and stored in folders that are marked as 'Restricted', and are only available to a select few individuals. The document is restricted to a hardcopy format only with access being closely monitored at all times to prevent a potential leak of the information to the public. No more than a dozen of these internal documents exist to further prevent mass dissemination of the information held within.

Overview

During the Mandalorian Invasion of Ryloth, the Galactic Alliance intervened on behalf and at the request of the Rylothi Government. Following this event which saw two Galactic Powers formerly allied with one another cut Diplomatic ties, the question arose as to how the Galactic Alliance should respond to, the perceived, ongoing Mandalorian Aggression as they claimed de jure status to formerly held Territories and Planetary Systems. Ever the stewards of Diplomacy in the Galaxy, the Galactic Alliance Chancellor put forth a resolution to the Senate proposing a formal declaration of war. The resolution was adopted with few votes against and the Galactic Alliance formally declared a state of war between it and the Mandalorian Enclave.

Section I - The Declaration of War covers the ongoing Political climate and current state of affairs of the Galaxy as it pertains to the Galactic Powers. It specifically informs on the state of war that is now existent between the Galactic Alliance and the Mandalorian Enclave as a direct result of the events that took place on Ryloth between these two Galactic Powers.

Section II - Aether Systems ongoing commitment to the Galactic Alliance focuses on further strengthening the ties and relationship between the Corporation and the Galactic Alliance and plans out the securing of additional Governmental Contracts as well as production facilities and material acquisitions located in the Deep Core.

Section III - Completed Production Lines for the GADF covers the completed manifest of Capital Ships and Warships that were recently produced for the Galactic Alliance Defense Force such as the Alliance-class Starhawk, the Thyferra-class Star Defender, and the Tython-class Fleet Carrier to name a few. This section also outlines the manifest of completed productions of Hapan and Chiss Starships that were produced for the GADF and are expected to see service in the conflict between the Galactic Alliance and the Mandalorians.

Section IV - Planned Production Lines for the GADF covers a series of planned Capital Ships and Starfighters that are currently undergoing the design stage prior to their issuance and approval for production. Many of the vessels mentioned in this section include those that are planned for the Galactic Alliance Defense Force, the Strategic Intelligence Agency, and the New Jedi Order.

Section V - The Aether Gunstar contains the design, production notes, and the internal memo that approved the initial designs and the production of the Gunship known as the Aether GS-01, an enhanced variant of the Aether TC-M7

Section VI - Project Gunstar outlines the proposed plan as to how the Aether GS-01 would be deployed or otherwise provided to entities outside of the Galactic Alliance that view the Interplanetary Government favorably. This section provides the means by which shipments of the Aether GS-01 would be marked as 'Lost in Transition' or 'Captured by Pirates' as a means to funnel these Gunships into the hands of Resistance or Rebel Forces that directly oppose entities such as the Mandalorian Enclave, the Empire of the Lost, and the Sith Order and provide the Galactic Alliance and Aether Systems with plausible deniability in regards to how the Aether GS-01 was being acquired or being utilized by said Resistance or Rebel entities.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

The document that would become known as Project Gunstar was initially conceived of and developed by Amelia von Sorenn, the Owner and CEO of Aether Systems following the formal Declaration of War between the Galactic Alliance and the Mandalorian Enclave. Knowing that the conflict would embolden certain organizations and political entities to strike at the Galactic Alliance whilst it was occupied with the War Effort, Project Gunstar was developed as a means to surreptitiously provide Gunships, Starfighters, and Bombers to Resistance and Rebel Forces that were amiable to the Galactic Alliance without directly implicating the Galactic Alliance.
