• Mighty Mouse: Strong given its size.
• Binocular Vision: Because of the micro-optics it has the ability to see things all the way down to the molecular level, allowing them to identify materials and better evaluate terrain and opponents.
• Defensive Combat Specialist: These droids were designed based on various military tactics for defense, especially personal defense, such that they can be effective in defending individuals from identifiable threats. These particular droids are programmed to read the tiniest shifts in body language, analyze pheromones, and identify threats before it’s too late.
• Dangerous Shadows: These droids are painted a nearly matte black such that they can blend into the shadows. Their goal isn’t to be seen unless they have to be seen. They are an unseen defensive force.
• Echani Built: Like most droids created by EIC, these droids are programmed to fight in the Echani style of martial arts. If their ranged defensive measures prove ineffective, or if close-quarters is necessary, these droids are equipped with small blades and deadly bodies.

• Strength Is Relative: Due to the construction of the musculature system, this droid is much stronger than most droids its size.
• I See You: The ability to see all the way to the molecular level allows the droid to pinpoint weak points in armor and carapace, as well as to determine strength levels of surrounding materials.
• Kinetic Shminetic: With the presser field in the shield, and the self-healing laminanium armor, this droid is built for physical confrontation in which it comes out on top.
• Energy? I’ll Energy You!: The use of laminanium armor coupled with phrik and echani graphite interior components protects the droid from sabers and blasters, as does the shielding.
• Pulse This: A core of silver beneath the armor, wrapped around the arc reactor with leads that run down the body to the ground act as a faraday cage for the reactor core in the event of an EMP attack.

• Resistance is Futile: As per usual, the factors providing resistance to anything are not going to last forever. Prolonged or repeated strikes will wear down the resistance.
• I’m Melting!: As with most metals, those that make up the droid are susceptible to high strength acids.
• Numbers Matter: There aren’t that many of these defensive droids, so a force of greatly superior numbers can easily overrun them.

A key sticking point from analysis of recent, and not recent, events on Eshan and the rest of the Sisters has revealed a disturbing lack of personal defense for the people responsible for running the government and keeping the Echani people safe. Part of the reason for the development of the individual systems in current use by EIC has been the development of Project Hardfiber. The intention is the defense of the ministers, the Queen, and a handful of other highly important diplomats.

Combat systems and analysis are the primary focus of these droids, their programming intended for identification and elimination of threats as rapidly as possible. Adaptation to situations was also stressed, and has allowed the droids to become keenly capable of reacting swiftly and in a variety of situations and circumstances. Battle testing was successful and the droids proved themselves capable of beating even the top Echani warriors.

These droids are ready to roll out with the announcement of the new Echani Queen.
