Project Reclaimer

Miss Blonde

Trying to be straight in a crooked Galaxy
This was a rather special day for Miss Blonde, it was a little pet project she had been dreaming up for a while now, and as an engineer she wanted to move up to a master level and swing around with the pros. Miss Blonde wanted to be known as the person who could compete with people like Rave and Isley without the need of alchemy or the force.

To her it was a crutch, something to rely on when good old metallurgy wasn't enough, and to Patricia tech and quality metal was all you needed. Everything started with the perfect metal and most people assumed it was beskar, but that just wasn't true. While beskar was no doubt one of the strongest metals in the galaxy it was heavy as hell and you had to be a beast to operate in it.

Now phrik was workable, it was lightweight and you could breath in it not to mention it was highly resistant to energy weapons. Over the years she had created a few armors out of phrik and now she was looking to make her masterpiece, her Mona Lisa. But in order to do that she needed to acquire her phrik from her mine on Demonsgate. So that's why she was at the Demon's Reach mining facility gathering her supplies.

Colossal Mining Droid Thirty Two who she had named given the nickname Zeek to had just dropped off a batch of ore, she was quite specific with the order though, enough ore to craft three suits of armor in. What was the point of only making one master pubs when you could make a little scratch on the side? After all she was a criminal now, might as well start like acting like it again.

Smaller droids provided by Xalus grabbed the ore that was dropped into the loading bay and started to place them into hover carts, the first step was getting the phrik and refining it perfectly. You wanted top quality phrik, no seeds or stems in this bad boy. This armor was going to be perfect down to the very last detail and she was going to be dammed if she couldn't compete with those force using d bags who got all the praise!

"Move them over to the refinery and we'll start the process. And bring them to my personal smelter! I don't want them going into the common one we give to the populace!" Blonde yelled to the droids as she walked over to the refinery.

Miss Blonde smiled as the droids dumped the ore down in front of her personal smelter, she had it imported from the Reclaimer Arms & Industrial facility on Relovian and she could not of been happier about it. Smelting things with fire was overrated now of days and it was about going high tech, the smelter was like an enormous oven and it could push to heats like that of a sun.

"Load them up." Blonde said to the droids.

The droids responded immediately and started to place the phrik ore into the loading port. Stacking the rocks piece by piece into the massive oven the woman watched for a bit before moving into position. She had to monitor the phrik ore while it heated up and melted, and it had to hit that perfect temp where she could have the oven pour out molten slag into the next part of the process. But for now it was time to get the job done of melting the ore.

"Fire her up!" Blonde said with a fevered excitement as the droids slammed the loading port closed.

The oven did the equivalent of going to zero to sixty in the blink of an eye. Heat raised high and the temperature in that section of the refinery jumped up to extremely high levels and it even made miss blonde back up a bit. But she had a job to do and she was going to watch the ore melt down from its low grade form. After a few minutes the rocks began to bubble and slag turning into a boiling pot of liquid metal. There was nothing more satisfying then having matter shift from a solid into a liquid, it was almost magical to watch.

"Alright! Pull it out into the trap filter stream and get those imperfections out." Blonde said as she threw on a pair of goggles.

The droids nodded and pulled a leaver that would empty the liquid ore down into a drain towards the bottom left of the oven. A metallic pipe that was filled with layers of filters caught the slag and soon the metal drained down it and only the purified phrik flowed to the heated bottom collection pan where it was kept at a low boil. Miss blonde hovered over the ore and pulled a bandana over her face.

"Ingot time." she said with a smile.

Taking the molten slag out in buckets a few droids began to pour the molten ore into a mold that would shape them into ingots. They had to be cooled and miss blonde would soon take these ingots and use them in her armor. She didn't have the machinery here to craft the armor, she had to go back to Relovian to do that at her personal workshop at Reclaimer. Hans was on the level and he wasn't about to report her to any authorities.

"How we looking over there!?" Blonde asked one of the droids.

"Beginning the cooling and process now ma'am." The droid said in response.

There was a hissing sound and steam was rising, the ore was cooling into ingots where they would soon be loaded up. She had to do the first batch of ingots and then move on to the next two, there would be exactly enough in each load to craft the full piece of armor and she had some major plans for the armor. Hopefully she could keep a pair for herself and ensure that this armor would be top quality for the select few.

"Batch one complete ma'am. Loading up the second."

The batch of ingots was loaded up in a small hover cart and then taken towards the door away from the refinery and towards the stations port bays. Blonde nodded and looked over to the droids who went back to the low boiling pot of pure liquid phrik. Taking buckets they scooped up the liquid and carried it over towards the ingot maker. Carefully they poured it into the mold with the precision that a droid was known for, they didn't spill a single drop and blonde was happy she had went with hellhound for the work force.

"Are we ready to get batch two ready?" Blonde asked the droid.

"Yes Ma'am, proceeding now." the droid said back to blonde.

Steam rose and the ingots began to cool into their purified and solid state of matter. The result was more pure phrik ore that was ready to be used, and Patricia was as giddy to get get hands on it. She was practically bouncing like an Atrisian school girl waiting for this process to be done. The droids quickly grabbed the ingots once they fully cooled and placed them into another hover cart to send them over to the ship ports so they could be loaded up.

Time for the last batch of phrik bars. The droids grabbed their buckets and were scrapping off the bottom of the pan for the molten phrik, she didn't like to waste anything so blonde made sure they got every spec of the material.

"Every last drop gentlebots, I intend on getting my money's worth out of this facility." Blonde said to the droids.

The droids nodded and ensured that each drop of phrik was collected and placed in the buckets. They were quickly carried over to the ingot molder where they were poured into the mold and sent down the line to be cooled. The hiss of bars being cool sounded and miss blonde walked over to inspect her last batch of purified metal. She looked down at the bars and smiled brightly, she loved how it smelt and she quickly nodded her head over to the droids to get them to move their asses and load up the phrik. It was time to head to her workshop and get started on the armor.

"Are we set to go?" The woman asked.

"Ten minutes ma'am and we'll be ready to load up and go." The droid said as other metal men carried the bars over to the loading area.

"Excellent get it into the ship and I'll be there shortly, I need to make a few calls and speak to some people." Blonde bowed to the droid and he did the sand before walking towards her office.

Grabbing her long range comm unit she dialed up her close friend and assistant for Reclaimer, who coincidently became the CEO in her absence. Well maybe not so much by coincidence and that Hans owed her, so she was going to lean on him a little.

"Hey Hans, it's me. I need to use the workshop, I'll be in, in a few hours so if you can have the team prep the workshop. I have a fun little pet project coming up and I need you to get the best ready. Patricia said in her natural speaking voice.

"Well you are one to ask for things." Hans said with a pause and chuckle.

"Right away Miss G, everything will be prepped. Also you know the vest isn't really ready yet, we still can't make a cost effective version for mass production." the man said to her in response.

"Just bring up three, what I'm planning on making will be more special." She said in a flat tone.

"You're the boss." the man said in response.

"Alright, I'll see you when I get there. Bye." the woman finished up her conversation and walked into her office.

"Waldo my love, you want a promotion?" The woman said with fake enthusiasm as she bolted into the office.

The small pale man with blonde hair who sat behind the desk let out an audible sigh and rubbed his temples. He knew what this was because the words "promotion" came out of Patricia's mouth it really meant "here take my job for the weekend cause Imma go get turnt up."

"Let me guess, you want me to watch the plant until you get back?" The man said in a aggravated tone.

"Wally Wally Wally, come on, you know I wouldn't-" she was quickly cut off.

"Be honest." The man said with a straight line set in his mouth.

"Yes." Patricia said back.

"Go ahead, I'll hold the fort down." He said as he organized some spreadsheets.

"You're the best Wally!" She waved to Waldo and walked out of the room.

Waldo grumbled under his breath and returned back to his job of calculating shipments and running droids.

With everything done the woman loaded up her crap and packed a few bags. She got on her data logger and smiled, she was doing this not only to prove a point to herself that she could make powerful gear without the aid of the force, but as a surprise to a certain someone in her life. It was her husband's birthday soon and she wanted to surprise him with something nice. So pulling up her contacts she pressed a few buttons and sent a message to [member="Jarven Zexxel"]

Hey babe, I might be busy for a few days. Don't worry I'm not in danger, I'm just going to be working on getting you your birthday gift so I'll see you in two days back on the ship. I love you, see you soon.

With the message sent the woman walked into stations ship bay and walked over to loading dock A. She pressed a button on a panel and the automatic door opened up the ship that was loaded with phrik ingots. It was a beautiful sight indeed and she was going to make sure that this precious cargo got to Relovian safely. She smiled and quickly hoped into the luxury suite of the ship to catch a few hours of shut eye, she wanted to be nice and fresh for the fun part of this journey. Building the actual armor.
