❀ Small town, Naboo ❀

The town wasn't as busy as it usually was, the destruction of the garden owned by the well known Flornne had a lot of people quiet, scaring them off into their farms and lands in hopes to avoid what happened to Flornne. Not even criminals dared to try anything flashy, without the presence of bustling townspeople the bounty hunters kept their eyes on them like hawks. The night prior a rouge Twi'lek ran out of town after getting caught cheating while gambling with two bounty hunters, although the Twi'lek didn't even have a bounty the hunters ran after him anyways. Things went horribly wrong as the Twi'lek stepped foot on the Flumks land, the two bounty hunters were furious and desperate to shoot blasters at the cheater. The terrified Twi'lek was doing all sorts of acrobatics and throwing pots, plants, and anything he could get his hands on in order to avoid getting shot. In the end, the garden was engulfed in flames due to one of them using a mini flame projector and the Twi'lek escaped. Despite the tragedy of Flornnes garden going up in flames it seemed like something else was off about the town's atmosphere. It simply wasn't right.

"Mesa doen notting!" Yo Yo exclaimed to her sister, she threw up her arms as if to give up and her sister simply stared at the suspiciously bulky bag on the floor before replying, "You are bein berry cawazy" It was obvious that Flornne was mocking Yo Yo, for Flornne could speak a more proper galactic basic due to her much more studious aspirations in comparison to Yo Yo. Flornne wanted nothing but for the two of them to be safe and away from harm, she simply did not wish to suffer any more consequences after the fire but Yo Yo was insistent on getting revenge. They had been arguing the entire morning and they both were just about to emotionally explode.

"Okey fine, my goen to town, will cleana da messen," Yo Yo got up and grabbed her bag, which seemed heavier than usual. Her twin reached out and pulled her arm in an attempt to stop her from leaving their dome shaped home, "No! You can't," she begged, "It was an axadent, you can't blame them," they had already gone over this a million times, it was too late for Yo Yo to change her mind. "Ex-squeeze me Flo Flo," she said as she pulled away and made her way to the already open front door, the smell of ash was very prominent outside.

"Selongabye!" Yo Yo gave a childish smile as she ran off down the dirt pathway, making her way to town. "I luv yous..." Flornne muttered, leaning against the door as she watched her twin disappear into the distance. She could never understand the way Yo Yo thought about things, did she even take the time to think and process things? The horrible feeling of anxiety began to take over her body, it would be best to just go back inside and do a bit of window-shopping on the holonet instead of thinking about the troubles her twin could get herself into.

❀ ❀ ❀
It was now well into the evening, the cantina began to gain its crowd since the bounty hunters were done for the day and wanted to relax. This cantina was once normal, typical for the farmers and townspeople but in recent years it had seemed to gradually become the favorite spot for bounty hunters- especially those from the guild. The owner did not mind at all since they brought in hefty credits to spend every night, the owner even went as far as putting up a large holographic board on one of the cantina walls meant for bounty postings.

Although there was no live band, the jukebox was lively enough for the crowd and everyone continued to share their laughs and drinks. The cantina became quiet as Yo Yo entered, once a Trandoshan bounty hunter stood up to talk to her the others turned their heads away and continued their conversations.

"Hey, relax, the ones you're looking for aren't here," he said, Yo Yo was tall for a Gungan and they both saw each other eye to eye. Disgust was clearly written on her face as she recognized the Trandoshan as one of Flornnes exes, "Mooie mooie, yousas fraidee frogs!" she shoved him aside and he did not fight back. "Hey relax," he snapped, the Trandoshan clearly did not wish to make a big deal out of it but his patience was being tested.

Yo Yo spit on the floor, "You jetar maddle," he growled, reaching towards her to grab her. He was a second too slow as she hopped aside, her gloved hand reaching into her bag, "Fraidee frogs!" Yo Yo exclaimed, throwing a smoke ball right at the trandoshans chest.

The sound of a loud bang was followed by a giant cloud of bright pink smoke, giggles and laughter could be heard from the Gungan, "Fraidee frogs! Fraidee frogs!" she yelled in a teasing voice. Everyone was shocked, some where coughing from the smoke and others took out their weapons in attempts to shoot at Yo Yo if they even saw her. Amidst the chaos of smoke, she threw multiple magnetic thermal detonators onto the metal pillars by one of the cantina walls.

No one realized she had ran out, instead, they were blinded and deafened by the loud explosions of pink and turquoise.

Everyone, at least those who survived, simply knew this girl had just placed a big fat bounty target on her head. Brothers and sisters of the guild had died and there was no going back, especially for the cantina owner who cherished his bounty hunter customers.

A story of chaos and revenge will ensue.

Naboo was normally such a calm place, and Drego needed some time to himself. After his visit to Concord Dawn, he had a lot to think about.

What he didn't expect was more chaos.

Upon arriving on the planet, he had heard of a small town in the boonies that had become a haven for criminals and bounties. Never one to turn down a chance to get paid, he took up the challenge.

Upon arrival, he didn't waste any time, and had already taken in two bounties before he finally made it to the cantina, mostly to get a drink, but also to keep an eye out for more criminals. Settling down for a drink, Drego took his chance to order a stiff one, and people watch as he tended to do. Of course he stuck out like a sore thumb, suited in full mandalorian armor, but he didn't care. Anyone ballsy enough to raise a fuss about it would get an e-tool to the face.

"Fraidee frogs!"

A bang echoed through the room as Drego was forced to drop his drink, and slip his helmet back on, his suit's enviro-filter activating without his own input, as his AI took over for a second to make sure the man inside knew what was going on.

All of a sudden, a portion of the roof came down with a series of explosions.

<<Boss! You still alive boss?!>>

"I'm alive..." Under a mass of rock, but...alive. "What's the r-readout?" He asked through strained breath. He already knew one of the answers, as a massive rock was on top of his leg, the armor slightly crunched.

<<Armor took a hit. You got a fractured tibia, and your blood pressure is spiking.>>

"Yeah, no shit." He said, pulling the collapsible e-tool off his back and using it to leverage the mass of rock off his leg. "Hit me with a shot 'a bacta and let's see what the fark hit us. I'll live."

Tryk had no knowledge of the circumstances or personalities at play on this world, today.

He was just thirsty, and hoped to meet a contact. Business had been reasonably good, and life was going reasonably well.

But as he approached the cantina, a figure sprinted out with such speed that it was a blur. Tryk's hand went to his Ion Pistol, perceiving a threat. But the figure did not stop for him. Rather, the blur escaped into the night like a shot fired from a gun.

Then there was thunder, and heat, and light.

One thermal detonator was no joke. It created a five-meter blast of intense heat, likely to create a fire as well as blow someone to smithereens. Several thermal detonators at once? It was a holocaust of destruction.

Even several steps from the building, Tryk was thrown off of his feet and hurled back two meters before thudding painfully on the ground. Chunks of building and flaming matter descended down around him. There was some hope that individuals inside the building might have survived, given the numerous columns and other obstructions intentionally built into the structure. But soon, it was likely to burn down, and anyone left inside would be roasted or suffocated.

Various denizens of the city staggered around, some gathering to see the spectacle of destruction, dumbfounded into passive spectatorship.

It was a strange juxtoposition. The natural beauty of Naboo contrasted with this fiery blast. The beauty of creation pressed against the flame of destruction. Such scenes of terror had not been common on this world for many generations.

Nearby, a water pipe had been broken open by the blast. it was spewing a rain of water, as though weeping over the lost lives.

Tryk found his feet, checked himself, and then stepped into the weeping rain. Droplets descended upon him, soaking his cloak.

Then he rushed into the inferno of the destroyed cantina. The fire would have been too bright, but for the protective lenses that filtered light to his sensitive eyes. Jawas had been creatures of the night, once. And the night had never been meant to look like this.

Inside, surrounded by heat and smoke, he looked for any victims who might be alive. His vocoder mask's air filtration was a welcome boon at times like this. He scurried between debris and flame, looking for anyone who might need help.

The carnage was intense. Worse than most of what he'd seen since taking up this job. The memory of it would be burned into him, even if these flames never took purchase upon his flesh.

Reaching under his helmet and rubbing his temples, Tod sat at a table another drink came to him but he pushed it away. He wasn't drunk but had a splitting headache. Tod had just gotten out of a job not too far from the cantina where the person he was fighting had hit him in the head with some sort of blunt weapon, it at first didn't hurt but as the adrenaline wore off, he started to feel a sharp pain. He had unclipped the bottom of his mask to rub his head still leaving the top part obscured.

Reaching into his belt he pulled out a bottle of pills that read NSAID. Once he popped one into his mouth he reclipped the mask. A loud noise of some sort of commotion came to him.

A Gungan.

Tod didn't really hate Gungans but found that they can be some of the most annoying creatures in the galaxy, especially with his skull-splitting headache. Deciding to not bother staying if there was going to be an annoying one around, he walked for the entrance.

Someone at a table looked at him and said, "You need any jobs Tod?"

Instead of answering he stopped and starred for a second finally registering what the man had said, but nonchalantly waved his hand in a way of saying 'no.'

As he neared the entrance the Gungan ran by him and he almost ran into them. This stopped him momentarily confused. An explosion sent him out the door landing on his chest. He rolled onto his back and stood up looking around. His gaze returned to the once bustling cantina. Standing there in awe for a moment, he regained his senses and looked around again and moving to pull people out of the wreckage.

Fitz Jarro

The Loud Mouthed Scoundrel
'The last job was a right proper chitshow... It'll be nice to finally relax for a while and do some talking instead of shooting...' Fitz thought as he strolled through the streets of Naboo. He always heard so much about the architecture here... It was pleasant to look at. And in addition, one of the cantinas here seemed to be the centre of finding work as a bounty hunter. A perfect location to settle down, or at least have a drink.

He smiled as he waltzed through the street. His vest still needed cleaning after the scuffle on Bespin, so he opted for a more loose outfit, with just his light blue shirt. Fitz's plan assumed possibly even getting in touch with a representative of the bounty hunter's guild and hopefully making a good impression. He smirked under his moustache. Good first impressions were his thing. He struck a match against a matchbox, lighting a cigarette in his mouth. He was sure the negotiations will go smooth, and if not, he'll at least find a bounty to pursue in the cantina. Or so he thought.

KABOOM!

A massive explosion shook the ground, staggering the aspiring bounty hunter, causing the cigarette to fall out of his mouth and hit the floor as well as almost making him faceplant on the sidewalk along with a few other pederastians, had he not grabbed onto a nearby lamppost at the last second. He looked up, confused, only to see smoke rising above the buildings, seemingly coming from a nearby location. His expression dulled when he realised the smoke was rising from the spot where the cantina he was heading for supposedly was. Fitz closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

'That is the second cantina that turned into a mess the second I arrive... I just have the worst luck, I guess. But hey, if I catch whoever bombed the joint...' His lips curled back into his usual cocky half-smile. 'I get the credits for the bounty that will inevitably be put on the wanker and a fast pass into the bounty hunter's guild on account of helping them!'

As the plan formed in his head, he started running quickly towards the commotion, eyes on the lookout and a determined expression on his face. First he needed someone alive to describe the bomber, so his best course of action is to help out any survivors would find. Fitz hated senseless violence, after all, and the explosion surely brough more death than what could be justified.

"Naboo!" Hilal shouted pumping her fist in the air. "This place is soooo beautiful and sooooo..... artsy!" Naboo was a great place to relax especially after a long and bloody battle of Utakis. The Enclave dominated the Galactic Alliance and were now making preparations to make the long trek into Alliance. As much as it excited Hilal, it also worried her since some of her closest friends were part of the Alliance. "Stinking Jedi....." Hilal thought bitterly while she walked towards the small town. "It's their fault, they attacked us first! Of course, we had to defend ourselves!"

The young woman shook her head, this wasn't the time to think about the war. It was time to go shopping! Hilal had fully recovered from the injuries she received back at Utakis feeling fresh and ready to spend all day looking at the fancy clothes that the Naboo offered. Of course Hilal couldn't shop by herself, that'll be boring! She needed to drag a friend along, Akiya Orime Akiya Orime motioned that she'll sneak out from New Alderaan during the encrypted Holomail exchange. Hilal expressed worry for Akiya's safety since she was sneaking out multiple times to see her. Yet, Akiya responded that Jitters is buried in his work and it was easier to seduce him.

Hilal saw the cantina ahead a smile forming on her face. Akiya told Hilal to meet her at the small area so they can begin their shopping spree. Hilal had a lot of credits saved up and she couldn't wait until she can spend it all.... "Ohhhh I just want that multicolored dress that Queen Amidala wore once!" Hilal said to herself giggling gleefully. "I just hope they have-"

BOOM!

Hilal screamed as she felt herself being knocked off her feet and landing hard onto the floor back first. "WHAT THE FLYING FREAKING FRACK!" Hilal groaned blinking repeatedly as she saw the explosion..... coming from the cantina!

"Oh chit! Akiya!" Hilal scrambled to her feet grimacing in pain in the process. To think that of all days to desire a peaceful moment, something bad happens. It seems that trouble always follows Mandalorians, it was a their gift and their curse. "Akiya....." Hilal said pulling her Blaster Pistol. "Please be okay....."

Objective
: Fight to Survive, Survive to Fight.

Naboo. In earnest, if there was one planet he preferred more than his so-called ‘home,’ it would be Naboo. It was beautiful, with a collection of memories for himself. He frankly loved the place. He only recently heard of a small establishment that welcomed Bounty Hunters, rather than giving them apprehensive side-eyes and icy demeanors. It was something they had to see for themselves.

Exel wasn’t much for companionship, and held little-to-no allies within the Bounty Hunter's Guild, as reclusive as he was. But he held some amount of renown, at the very least, with the right people to be hired enough in the first place. Thus, he was here - and to be completely honest, it was somewhat enjoyable, to be with a crowd that understood in one vague way or another his tendencies for the Hunt. A crowd where everyone knew what everyone was, with little worry of chaos or brawling that was more than friends having a go. Sipping on his drink through a straw in his helmet, he was taking in the peace.

Though, he heard some kind of commotion towards the front. He didn’t pay much attention to it, the helmet only slightly turning in the direction…until he heard the indecipherable shouting by the vibrant Gungan, followed by the tell-tale sign of a Thermal Detonator priming. Then everything went sideways, and he found himself on the floor with his HUD showing nothing but blackness. Covered by debris, the roof that was once standing soundly above him. He felt winded. No, he couldn’t breath. A weight was atop him, and the Hunter was too disorientated to witness what exactly it was. There would’ve been ringing, suffocation, too, had his systems not filtered the harmful sounds and smoke from the fires that began to start.

It brought bad memories - horrible ones that were an almost perfect mirror of this situation. Psychopaths. Murderers without cause or reason. A bubbling, boiling loathing caused his teeth to grit, and he struggled against the rubble that buried him. It was the very reason he took up this profession, to hunt people like them. Less than sentient, mere animals. The armor whirred, as servos led his arms to shove off a hefty piece of one of the metallic pillars off his chest, allowing him to gasp for breath beneath the helm. A strained “Hhh-” left his person, muffled from his helm’s modulation. The metallic armor was pinned down by more than just that, but still he would try to rise. He survived worse, he’ll survive this - he had to. Unfortunately, he happened to get some of the worst of the explosion. Perhaps it was for the best, given the armor he bore was capable of withstanding it.

Exel had been out of the game for too long. What better a way to get back into it, than pursuing a target like this. Didn’t even need the Bounty, though he wouldn’t be much of a Hunter without cashing in on the one that would surely follow. But he’d have to claw his way out, first.

It was no small thing for Tryk to drag a wounded person out of the cantina.

While Tryk was very tall for a Jawa, he was still pretty short for almost everyone else.

Fortunately, he had his Bounty-Hunting paraphernalia to help. He secured a gravity belt around a wounded individual, which caused them to float up in opposition to the planetary pull. Then he was able to tug them away from the burning and collapsing building. Even without weight, they still had mass, so it was quite the effort to climb over rubble and obstacles to get them out into the street.

Then, huffing and puffing, he went again into the structure.

This went on for some time.

But soon, the dying were separated from the dead. The Naboo medical services arrived. The Naboo fire services went into action.

Before long, the structure was a smoking ruin, but no longer ablaze.

The worst victims had been taken to medical facilities.

And the remainder stood about in the aftermath.

"Someone pay for this," Tryk said.

It wasn't a promise of revenge. It was a straightforward proposal. He agreed with Fitz.

Someone should put up a bounty to catch the perpetrator.

Someone should- literally- pay for what followed from this bombing.

And in Tryk's opinion, that someone should be the Bounty Hunter's Guild itself.

Akiya was cursing under her breath as she rushed from the transit depot into the small town that Hilal had said they would meet. Naboo was outside of the Galactic Alliance borders, but there was still a heavy GA influence on the planet. With the troubles the Enclave and the GA were having that was probably why Hilal had selected a small town rather than Theed to do their shopping. Or Hilal just knew of a great store in this town. Either way, Akiya had greatly underestimated the amount of travel time required and was very late.

The fact that her dress was shorter and tighter than usual in an attempt to gain Hilal’s eye didn’t help her scurrying from one side of this town to the other. There was a ping on her watch that told her she was getting close to the cantina she was supposed to meet Hilal. Looking down to confirm the directions, Akiya heard a large blast and cried out. ”NO!” as she knew the direction of the sound was her destination. Akiya quickly pulled off her heeled shoes and rushed towards the cantina, damning any sense of modesty in a desperate need to find Hilal.

When she reached the source of the explosion, she saw things in disarray. But a smile formed on Akiya’s face when she saw Hilal in a jacket, simple shirt and pants. She had her hair down completely and even though there was an intense look on her face and her blaster was drawn, Akiya still noted how incredibly cute Hilal was. She wouldn’t tell the young bounty hunter at the moment however. Instead she rushed forward. ”LAL!” she yelled out and leaped at her friend wrapping her arms around Hilal’s neck. ”You always find trouble…I was afraid…” she explained staring in Hilal’s eyes as she held on.

Hilal's eyes grew wide seeing Akiya wearing a skimpy dress rushing towards her nearly tears. She was barely prepared for Akiya's hug nearly falling over in the process. "Akiya!" Hilal shouted her lips quickly turning into a chesire grin smile, she could feel her heartbeat continue to thump rapidly being drenched with relief that her good friend was alive and well..... and choking her.

"H-Hey Akiya! You're choking me!" Hilal gasped trying to let go of her. "I'm so glad that you're okay though!" Hilal looked over Akiya gently placing her hand over chest. "Oh man....." Hilal said shaking her head. "I thought you were in that cantina! I feared the worst!"

She snorted derisively when Akiya said that trouble followed her around. "Puhlease girl!" Hilal said trying to massage her beating heart. "I don't find trouble, if anything you're the one who's a trouble magnet."

She gave Akiya a friendly elbow to her shoulder before looking at the Cantina. "We're gonna have to evacuate the people trapped there," Hilal said her smile fading. "And find out who the frack did this!"

There was a mixture of emotions as the fire died down into colorful smoke, many helped sort out the ruins and others arrived at the location in confusion. Some townspeople were extremely angry, others mourned for the loss of lives, but when it came to the bounty hunters, they sought for one thing.

The holoprojectors surrounding the area about the cantina changed from random advertisements into a live broadcast of the cantina owner, an eldery Chiss man known as Zyke. He was on a trip to the capital city of Naboo, Theed, and he had finally heard of the news about his precious cantina. Zyke looked furious on the broadcast which was a rare sight, the townspeople were used to seeing him smile all the time- there were even jokes that he was more alike to a joyous Pantoran than the stereotypical Chiss. Though at the moment he was solemn, his mouth a straight line and his brows furrowed.

"I had plans... for building a new cantina as you all know, but it has come to my attention-" he looked down at the rings on his fingers, "a disaster happened. I can't let this go by without consequences!" Zyke slammed his fist on the table, the holographs glitched and showed a tilted view of his shoes. Zyke could be seen taking steps away until he was out of the view, "All of my funds will be towards the crikking bounty, Jerald! Make sure to contact the guild!" although it was faint on the broadcast, it was actually him yelling as he exited the room. The broadcast ended and the holographs changed to a bounty image of the none other Yo Yo Flumk.

All bounty hunters would receive a message, if they chose to open it, the same image would be revealed along with the impressive bounty prize number. The gungan was wanted dead or alive. Who would dare join the hunt?

Akiya was so very glad to see the wide grin on Hilal’s face. Akiya was surprised to have to support Hilal for once as the young Mandalorian almost fell due to Akiya’s exuberant hug. ”Oh…um…sorry…just so happy to see you ok.” Akiya responded as she loosened the hold on Hilal’s neck, but wasn’t ready to let go just yet.

Akiya finally let go of the hug and took a step back smiling as she looked over Hilal. She gave a nod of her head when Hilal said she was worried that Akiya was inside. ”I didn’t plan for travel from Theeds very well. I was pretty late.” Akiya admitted as she awkwardly put her shoes back on her feet. ”I thought you were in there. I am so glad to see you.”

Akiya laughed at Hilal saying that she was the one that brought the trouble. Maybe it was Akiya. It wasn’t like she had the best of luck since Kilran took her from her home. ”You know. Maybe it is when we come together that things go to chit,” Akiya blushed. She hardly ever cursed. She knew that Hilal wouldn’t take offense with the amount she had heard the young Mandalorian curse, but it was a shock to hear her own voice do it. ”Even if it is whenever we come together that bad things happen. I am glad we are able to hang out and won’t stop for anything.”

When Hilal expressed interest in helping survivors I nodded. ”Not exactly dressed for field work, but I’ll do what I can to help. Finally my doctor skills might come in handy.”

Fitz was busy lifting rocks, helping the many people trapped underneath the rubble. His light blue shirt, now unbuttoned at the top and sticking to his body. was a mess of dark smudges of ash. He furrowed his brows at the sight of this, but nevertheless, he kept at it, the years of physical training his father put him through paying off with each rock lifted...

~*~
'Tha' should be the last of 'em...' Fitz groaned as he lifted a small ugnaught from underneath the rubble. The small person had one of his legs completely crushed. 'You need me to carry you, big man?' Fitz asked with a friendly smile, but was refused, the ugnaught hardly recognising his presence as they slowly made their way to a pavement nearby. Fitz just took a deep breath in response. 'Suit yourself, mate...'

The bounty hunter wiped the sweat off his brow as he looked on at the scene of the explosion. He saw people helping others in their own parts of the rubble, pulling out people with broken arms, legs... Or corpses with those limbs blown off. 'So much destruction, with so much collateral damage... The work of an amateur with explosives, no doubt. Or someone wanting to send a powerful message. But who'd be willing to mess with the bounty hunter's guild?' The man wondered, as he slowly sat down at the edge of the rubble where once stood a cantina, rubbing his chin. He hated unnecessary death, the title of the scene unfolding before his eyes. He learned at a young age innocents killed was bad for business. Whoever did this and consequently whoever his next target was, clearly had no regard for life other than their own. 'So, options are, someone powerful enough to know no one can touch 'em, or someone dumb enough to not know they just put a massive target on their own back... Either the job will be easy, or worse than the chitshow on Bes-'

Fitz was snapped out of his own thoughts with the trill of an incoming message on his commlink. 'New bounty posted within your area!' the notification helpfully proclaimed. He opened the message, only to see something which put a smile on his face. From the message, a pink gungan's face stared at the grinning bounty hunter, with the name Yo Yo Flumk attached to the side. 'A gungan... So an amateur. My luck may finally be turnin' around.' His moustache quivered with excitement as he closed the message. The bounty was easily big enough that it could be split between a few people.

'Welp...' Fitz said to himself, pushing himself up from the floor and dusting off his clothes to a more presentable state.. 'Time to gather a huntin' party.
