Intent: The intent of the Prometheus Heavy Armor is to provide for those beings working in harsh, high temperature environments; by produce and providing a means to ensure that the wearer remains cool and is capable of resisting the heat. Additionally it is intended to aid those in a military role that are tasked with the use of flame based weapons, by protecting the wielder from the heat of their own weapons, or the heat of an enemies weapons. It can also be utilized by those in a rescue based setting to provide training for rescue personnel to aid those trapped in areas with rising heat, or sadly body recovery from high heat areas. It can also be utilized by those in a fire fighting profession as the tanks of fuel can be removed and refitted with water tanks.Development Thread: No

Modularity: The Prometheus Heavy Armor is limited in its scope of modifications, with it primarily focused upon the personal customization through the application of various paintings, symbols and designs. Beyond this the Armor is otherwise incapable of additional modifications or capable of supporting additional add-ons beyond what is also installed.
The only other modifications capable for the Prometheus Heavy Armor is that the fuel tanks are detachable. This can easily allow multiple uses in the terms of refitting those Fuel tanks with water tanks or other materials to be used in fighting a fire.

Material: The Prometheus Heavy Armor is comprised of two separate parts functioning as a single piece. The inner most layer is a body glove that is designed to keep the wearer cool and capable of resisting heat. It is a three piece layer in which the underlay is an Environmental mesh underlay mark V; giving a high resistance to heat to keep the wearer comfortable. Above this underlay is a layer of Thermal Gel which provides additional heat resistance coupled with its ability to harden and absorb limited amounts of kinetic energy. The third layer of this body glove is the upper mesh layer which is capable of becoming pressurized to provide a contained environment within the suit.
The second part of the armor is the overall suit of armor which is comprised of multiple pieces that are interlocked together to ensure a fully sealed environment to allow for the suit to become a pressurized environment. The armor shell is comprised of multiple alloys; with the primary base being that of a Carbo-plas Durasteel combination that allows the armor to remain lightweight and strong at the same time. Coupled with this is a mixture of Dallorian Alloy and Duravlex, both providing heat resistance to the wearer to protect them. The final additions are that of a Carbo-plas Durasteel Quadranium fuel tanks that the Prometheus Heavy Armor carries upon its back. The suit is finished with an additional thin layer of Agrinium to provide limited radiation resistance.
Description:
The Prometheus Heavy Armor is a suit of armor developed and designed specifically for those that are involved in roles that require a high resistance to heat. With the suits overall capabilities to sustain action in a high heat area or provide protection from flames and heat; it is a must for many in a myriad of professions. The suit itself is designed to be larger than the actual wearer who uses internal controls that allow the wearer to command and utilize the robotic appendages of the arms and legs. This provides for a far more intimidating sight due to the sheer size of the suit. However this size can also often create a weakness as it is capable of becoming trapped in tight places or prevented from entering some small areas all together.
Furthermore the suit itself needs constant maintenance and care to ensure its continued operation as the heat, soot and smoke of its operational areas can jam and damage the mechanical and electrical workings of the suit. Beyond that the suit itself is a fully pressurized isolated environment capable of supporting the wearer for an extended time of up to six hours while operating in a vacuum. Oddly enough the suit is also capable of becoming "locked up" if the internal thermal gel is struck in multiple areas at once. This causes the entire suit to lock up and become a statue, or a tomb if the wearer is incapable of escaping or the thermal gel is not returned to its liquid state.
