Promotion Guidelines
Promotion guidelines are as per site rules. Knight promotions are handled by their respective masters, and Master promotions are done by the Masters-then-RPJs voting process, as per usual. However… here at the Jedi Academy, the promotion process is handled entirely in-character, from discussions and nominations, to votes, announcements, celebrations, and counsel.
These considerations will be handled every quarter (every three real-life months), starting with a meeting of the Academy Masters. Padawans and Knights being put forward for promotion will be reviewed in-character (with the help of their progression tracker and input from their trainers) and one of two things will happen:
You're Promoted!:
Your promotion is announced, and you can celebrate! For Knight promotions, this is a simple agreement in-house. Promotions to Master will still follow the same voting process, but for our part this vote will be done in-character.
Promotion is Withheld:
At this point, you will be given counsel - this is advice on how to proceed such that you may succeed in the next quarter. As always, success is in the hands of yourself and your master(s). Again, this is all done in-character.
