HISTORICAL INFORMATION
Proto is a test model for Akron Defense Labs’ ABG-series Combat/Defense Droid. He was dispatched on his last test mission to watch over Eremia Loigos on a secret trip to Nar Shaddaa, giving periodic reports and locations as well as keeping his charge safe. Midway through the mission the droid was distracted by something his overactive threat computer thought needed to be neutralized.
Proto, then called ABG-00, followed the threat to the New Vertica region of Nar Shaddaa. Following down an alley he was caught in a very unconventional booby trap. Despite all the advanced defenses the EMP trap deactivated the droid until he was found by Brinna Dara and repaired.
