Description: The PS-1 line of Prosthetics are designed to return anyone back to the life they had before they suffered the injury that caused the loss of limb. There are three models in this line.
'A' is for the average citizen who just needs to be able to go back to work, hold their spouses hand, play catch with their child, or give their friends that after game high five. Composed of a Durasteel Skeleton and coverings, it is durable enough for everyday life and then some. Sure, you can go around punching wholes in wood walls or windows, but the train stops at maximum human/near-human capabilities. *Lifting capacity of 27.24kg-34kg, with obvious bodily restrictions.
'B' is made for industrial workers, Police officers, and light duty military members who need to withstand the harsher environments and wear and tear. Featuring the same Durasteel Skeleton as the Model A, but B also features Titanium actuators and Hydrochloric capacitors. Making the limb twice as sturdy as the A. *Lifting Capacity 36kg to 45kg with similarly obvious Bodily Restrictions
'C' is made for the most robust construction workers, miners, soldiers and mercenaries. This time, adding far more actuators and hydraulics as well as durasteel armor plating. The model C can give as good as it gets, unless you're getting a face-full of Lightsabers or straight shots. The plates are slightly angled to give the wearer a smaller profile allowing more glancing blows from blasters or slugthrowers. Or for those in the deadly construction or mining business, it has the potential to save someone from collapsing materials or malfunctioning equipment. Ie: rogue drills, hammers or falling rocks. *Lifting capacity 46kg to 54kg with continued obvious restrictions.
These limbs will last as long as the wearer, and then some. Any and all malfunctions, defects, or breaks are covered in IVC lifetime warranties. The limbs can be painted to fit the wearers choice. As well, all patients must be fitted with the IVC MCD/S (Mother Control Device/System) for ensured comfort and efficiency.
