DESCRIPTION
With recent cosmic events shifting how hyperspace travel will operate forever, the Spacer Guild needed a semi-reliable way to travel the galaxy. It seemed as if Purrgils were unaffected by the large stellar bodies shifting around. They were able to fly through their Simu-tunnels without colliding with any moving planets or stars. Purrgils were master navigators, so the guild wanted to utilize the creatures for their own adventures.

Working off of the Baffler design, they were able to create the Pseudophala Device. A piece of technology that releases Clouzon-36 gas, also known as the element makes hyperspace travel possible. When the device is activated, a ship will release small amounts of this gas when travelling through hyperspace and across the stars, similar to a Purrgil. The creatures will more often than not think that a ship is one of their own. Ships can now follow the Purrgils relatively safely when venturing through hyperspace to try and avoid any cosmic shifts that have been injuring thousands. When paired with a cloaking device, a ship can become almost invisible to a Purrgil, ensuring even more safety.
