- Fires a beam of sonic energy in two settings, lethal and non-lethal.
- Non-Lethal uses a smaller beam that directs into disorientating the target till either sickness or unconscious.
- Lethal uses a full size beam, striking the target with sonic energy that mimics such as a blaster bolt.
- Parry This You Filthy Jedi!: Against Jedi, this cannot be blocked by a conventical lightsaber.
- Works Underwater!: It can be fired underwater without any issues.
- Stay on Target!: The beam once hitting the target, starts to do its damage and keeps pummeling the target, possibly making the target not be able to move.
- Don't Worry, be Dead any Second Now!: Just a few seconds won't do much more than cause a blistering headache, it requires to stay on target for several seconds to kill or incapacitate the target.
- Droids: It requires three times the amount of work to destroy a droid, not having the pain receptors to react like organics would.
- Bit Large Don't You Think?: This is not a weapon easily held, it requires training and can be a hassle for smaller species under five foot ten.
Haon Hafey next step towards technology was the rifle variant, making a ready rifle for the battlefield. A unique issue was having to find space for the power cells which was not to much of an issue at the start until one realizes how much space it requires to run the Sonic Beams. So the design was enlarged to the determent of anyone considerably small for their size. Another unique note is it was now easier to fire but with size, also made it a bit harder to hold than the pistol variant. Regardless, it was sent out towards the Brotherhood of the Maws troops in hopes to combat the Jedi much easier.
