- Plasma Torrent: The projected plasma arc of this weapon can cut through most materials in an instant.
- Convectional Loading: The high temperature of the blade draws in gasses, allowing it to not rely on its gas canister.
- Just the Tip: This weapon always lands tip first when thrown or dropped at almost any distance.
- Oscillating Edge: The weapon doesn't so much vibrate as it oscillates length-ways in a tight figure eight pattern to enhance cutting power.
- Ionized: The plasma edge of this weapon uses an ark pilot light to ionize and super heat plasma, making it effective against droids and shields.
- Dry Shock: Without gas flow, these knives can double as a potent stun weapons or vibroknives.
- Lightweight: The materials this weapon is made of make it very light weight and perfectly weighted for throwing.
- Lightsaber Resistant: These weapons could take two or three hits from a light-saber before their ultrachrome edges become slag.
- Self Cooling: The Ultrachrome blade diffuses the heat of the plasma edge across its entire surface with the aid of the vents bringing in cool air. preventing it from overheating.
- Plasma Edged: A circuit which uses the heat from the pilot arc to ionize and push gas through a narrow edge at extremely high pressures turning the gas into plasma. The PSI and heat of the plasma exiting the knife is high enough that near contact with another material disturbs and excites its valence electrons, breaking apart solid matter. Making material durability largely worthless when faced with them.
- Ion Primed: Despite its effectiveness against material, the electro-charged ionized glasses make it potent against energy shields as well, albeit not to the same extremes.
- Atmospheric Ammo: So long as this weapon exists in a pressurized atmosphere with high oxygen, nitrogen or argon, the natural vacuum fueled circulation the weapon creates, drawing in gas from vents in the back of the blade enough to power its edge. While this is possible, gas canisters of specialized ammunition provide a much more powerful blade.
- Gyro Weighted: The weapon is weighted and has a gyroscope built into its core to ensure that the spin and positioning of the weapon when its thrown are perfectly predictable. Even a total amateur could ensure the weapon lands point first when thrown.
- Small Cartridges: The Cartridges of gas this weapon employs, while they burn hotter than most atmospheric air, they last fleeting moments before emptying.
- Pressure Reliant: Without an atmosphere, or without the right gasses in it, its circulatory loading is meaningless.

- High Impacts: These weapons have no means in which they're able to efficiently block or defend against large heavy weapons, especially those the blades would not be able to cut through such as force imbued weapons or ones simply large enough that the full length of the dagger doesn't reach.
The plasma knives that were developed on this world are a symbol of a forsaken planets special operations military until the once organized planet became little more than a host to squabbling and unorganized lords and nobles. The two blades that lay parallel to one another are laser cut for exceptional sharpness.
It took years to develop the technology to be able to cycle compressed gasses through the system in such a sum that the super-heated plasma flows in large enough quantities to be effective. To do so, and balance the knives materials in such a way that it could be effective;y thrown were a delicate balance which had to be observed at all times. When the weapon-smiths who created this tool were finished, they knew they'd made something potent.
They couldn't have guessed however the countless, thefts, assassinations, battles and destruction that these mobile plasma cutters would perform in the ensuing years as they were handed out to the special ops wings of the former government. The reputation of the wounds created by these knives would later become a method for people to identify the deeds of members of these organizations.
