Private Punishment

Flying to Maw Outpost in: The Silent Erika

Wearing: Shroud of Madness

Armed with: M-45 Repeating Ion Blaster, Francisco , Lightsaber (Red Blade), 40 mm Grenade Launcher (Single Shot), 40 mm Plasma Grenade Rounds X7

Objective: Devastate Maw Outpost, capture someone to make an example of.

Maple brimmed with rage towards the Maw. Ever since Csilla, in her spare time, she had vented by going to attack any and every Maw agent she could find, Frank Castle style.

Which was what she was here to do today. If she had known who was here she would have arrived faster.

The Stealth Drive of her black chromium J-Type 327 Nubian was top notch, and she used it to approach the outpost on some rocky planet she hadn't bothered to learn the name of.

Siva piloted the controls. Maple felt bad, keeping her in the dark about a lot of the things she had done. But, it was the best way to protect her from the Cult of the Brain Demon, who were even sneakier than she was. For all The Amalgam had "helped" Laertia, she had been as tight lipped about all her assets as Laertia had been about hers.

"I'll let you know when it's safe to pick me up, Siva!" Maple called out as she fixed her parachute to herself.

"Be careful!" Siva called back. "Turn these bastards into shark chum!"

"That's the plan..." Maple thought, vengeance on her mind as she dropped out of the hatch.

She pulled the rip cord on her chute and deployed it as she fell towards the outpost, full of scout fighters and supply vessels.

As she fell, she heard her suit teasing her about killing so many and tried to shut it out, having a terrible feeling she understood how Laertia could flip out so utterly on an enemy and call for their annihilation. But what terrified Maple the most was how much easier it had been to listen to the Black Knight's reasoning that no price was too high.

It terrified her even more how easily she could engage in her own personal crusades after Csilla. She had been relentlessly butchering Maw in the weeks since, seeking the secret to sowing terror and paranoia in such a notoriously unrelenting foe.

She landed on the roof of the outpost, close to it's antenna. She took out her grenade launcher, and fired both it and her M-45 with the aid of telekinesis to steady her shot.

She announced her presence to the Maw by exploding the Main Comm Antenna...

Havoc walked through the halls of the Outpost, dressed up in his gunner gear. Multiple Maw soldiers passed him, heading down the opposite way.Another day, another security inspection...

Havoc sighed. Maw Outposts had been being attacked by an unknown hostile. One after another had been attacked. Eventually, the leadership were tired of having their outposts attacked. So, they had assigned Havoc to inspecting the security of the Outposts, and make sure that they are capable of fending off attackers. The Outposts he had currently seen had definitely left... well there were many things that made the defenses of the Outposts undesirable, but Havoc was here to improve that, and make them better. He sighed again, his voice muffled by the helmet on his head. So far, it had been pretty uneventful. There had been some things that could be seriously improved.

Then, as Havoc was imputing some data into his datapad, the station was rocked by an explosion. He stumbled a bit, but caught himself, standing up straight. The alarms activated, sirens blaring and echoing throughout the hallways of the outpost. People and droids started rushing around, moving quickly and in a panic, trying to figure out what was going on and get to their combat positions. Havoc ran through the crowd, headed for the command room.

Once he reached the command center, Havoc stepped through the door. He saw the personnel running around, talking rapidly and working rapidly on terminals and such. "Status report." Havoc said.

"The Main Comm Antenna has been hit. It just... exploded. No idea what happened. It just happened out of nowhere." A technician at a terminal replied.

"Any hostiles detected?"

"No sir. Scopes are showing up empty. We don't see anything."

"Hmm... well, it is still better to be safe than sorry. Bring the outpost up to Code Red, we need to be ready if this develops anymore." Havoc ordered.

This was truly a... strange situation.

The Antenna was down, and Maple was not about to stop here.

She heard guards scrambling to investigate. She used telekinesis to take out the spent round in her Grenade Launcher and loaded another one in.

"Die, you Maw feths." Maple snarled under her breath as she opened fire with it.

The plasma grenade round exploded at the feet of the squads that had come to investigate, most burned alive or were shredded by being too close to the blast.

Out came the M-45.

Maple let out a devastating spray of shockingly accurate repeater fire, easily able to kill one large target in a single shot through a vital spot, or small groups of Maw killers with small, equally precise burst.

Laertia Io might have been one of the most dangerous duelists in the Galaxy, but Maple was one of the most dangerous gunfighters in it, period.

Part of what made her so dangerous was that she could serve equally as a long range sniper, or sharpshooter.

The other part was that when Maple wanted someone dead, she was just as vicious and relentless as Darth Xiphos herself, except way, WAY better at telekinesis.

Maple hopped down the roof, firing as she landed. The heavy Ion bolts punched through faces and torso, and only the overwhelming volume of fire poured in her direction forced her to move. But these Maw types, Final Dawn, whatever the feth they called themselves in private, were soft being at this outpost, and it showed. Maple's repeater fire tore into them her telekinetically manipulated grenade launcher loading and firing another grenade, blasting open an entrance.

"This isn't vengeance!" Maple called out to her enemies as she strode past blasted apart corpses into the interior.

"NO! NOT VENGEANCE! IT'S PUNISHMENT!"

Havoc watched on the terminals as the comm antenna continued showing error messages all over the board. It was most likely damaged beyond repair for the time being. Kark... just Havoc's luck. Well that certainly made things a lot more difficult. With his luck, things would be getting a lot worse very soon.

Then, one of the technicians reported, "We have a confirmed hostile! They've opened fire on our troops!" The technician reported.

Havoc turned on his commlink, and over the comm channels, he could hear multiple lines speaking at once, screams and cries of pain echoing out amongst the confusion as explosions and shots were fired off. Why did Havoc even think about things getting worse? Great... just great. Today was just getting better and better.

"What are we, deaf? Deploy the garrison!" Havoc ordered. The people within the control center scrambled around, rushing to terminals, typing on the terminals, and speaking orders into commlinks. The control room, like the rest of the outpost, suddenly became extremely lively as they began to issue orders and work to restore the situation.

Havoc activated the outpost's intercom, and said into it, "Attention: Protocol U-D is now in effect. Combative Personnel: Code Lima-Alpha is now currently being em-placed. Proceed to Sector 4. Non-combative personnel, report to your designated evacuation position." He said, his voice echoing throughout the halls of the outpost.
