BACKGROUND:
Lazarus was a boy when the initial schism that kicked off the Third Imperial Civil War fractured the status-quo of nearly half the Galaxy. His parents were amongst the first wave of defectors that rallied behind the ideals of the New Order. Displaced, suddenly relocated, and with sparsely present parents, Lazarus had a turbulent upbringing on Nirauan and then eventually Bastion. One caretaker to another with no solidified parental figures with regular presence was a catalyst for a novel-sized record's worth of behavioral issues and incidents.

Military school whipped him into shape, into the son his parents always envisioned. Lazarus excelled in that environment, once certain aspects had been molded out of him. So well, in fact, that when he was seventeen he earned early acceptance into the academy for the Stormtrooper Corps. Two years later, on his nineteenth birthday, he was orientated and shipped to attendance. It's been a year since then, and the very green Private Sloan is eager for action.
