  • When placed within a lightsaber, the Qapqorit creates a wider blade. Any lightsaber bearing one creates a deep crimson blade speckled with black.
  • The crystals are powerful dark side artifacts, forever blighted and irreversibly transfigured from the light side power they once held. They are abominations to all life. To those who wield the dark side they are instruments of great power creating incredibly powerful blades.
  • They magnify the individuals dark side force powers through simple possession of the crystal in a blade.

It all began with a hunt.

Deep in the Outer Rim a pair of Jedi Masters and close friends Kyith Vaun and Seriss Moor descended on the remote jungle world of Thualia that petitioned for the Jedi Orders assistance in mediating a conflict between two nations that were on the cusp of war. These paragons of the light were ready to answer the call, never shirking from their devotion to help others and provide relief to an Outer Rim ravaged by war and the tyranny of the Sith Empire. They boldly descended upon the planet. Together with grace and wisdom they seamlessly pulled Thualia back from the brink of a brutal conflict. It was during a celebration held in honor of the new peace accords that a fleet darkened the skies over the world.
The Kainate had come for Thualia.
The Jedi were experienced leaders, highly skilled warriors, and veterans of many battles they quickly jumped to coordinate the coming darkness. They wanted nothing more than to spare Thualia from its fate, spare them from the violence to come. So, they hailed the Kainate and boldly challenged them to send their best warriors down to face them, if the Jedi won the Kainate would be forced to leave the world in peace. While not ideal it if accepted, it would certainly spare the world from the fire to come. When a lone shuttle descended in response the Jedi Masters found none other than Darth Prazutis, Dark Lord of the Kainate himself accepted their challenge.
While this pair were ready to face down any challenge, take apart any foe they weren't ready for the Shadow Hand. The battle was short and when the smoke cleared the Dark Lord stood victorious, his opponents kneeling before him. Instead of killing them however, he had far greater plans for these two Jedi. They were taken captive aboard the Eternal Rule. As for Thualia? Under his command the entire planet was strip mined for its resources, over half of its populace were annihilated while what remained were taken away as slaves. The very world itself was drained dry of its latent force energy and turned into a charred wasteland of ash and flame.
As for the fate of Jedi Masters Kyith Vaun and Seriss Moor? Some would consider what happened to Thualia as merciful compared to what befell the two Jedi. They were brought deep into the black cells of Malsheem where they were subject to horrific torture at the hands of the Shadow Hand. When it was clear the pair wouldn't break, he devised a new way they could still be useful, a new experiment. The Dark Lord had long sought to corrupt the venerated Solari Crystals the Jedi Order often utilized, and he had devised a new method to finally break their resistance. Two Solari Crystals were utilized as the base, Obsidian Crystals mined from dark side shrines were carefully pounded into fragments and powder, carefully attached to the outside of the crystals. Where the Solari was utilized as the base, the Obsidian would be the conduit for the ritual to come.
Next came the final piece.
Darth Prazutis brutally slaughtered the two Jedi Masters in an archaic Sith Ritual. Through this event their agonizing deaths were instrumental in its success, their very souls were drained from their bodies and shredded, ground through the obsidian and straight into the Solari Crystals. The result of this horrific process permanently denied Kyith Vaun and Seriss Moor the opportunity to become one with the force, consigning them to eternal torment. The entire crystal was permanently transfigured turning it from its orange color to a deep crimson, the Obsidian fused with the Solari. The new powerful creations were given the name Qapqorit Crystals, in ur-Kittât their new name meant Twisted End, a name befitting the true fate of these two great paragons of light. One of the crystals was given to Darth Carnifex as a gift to his nephew for use in his lightsaber.

Factory Judge
Darth Prazutis Darth Prazutis Hi, I'll be reviewing this.

So, this all looks pretty good overall, I only have one question.

The crystals are powerful dark side artifacts, forever blighted and irreversibly transfigured from the light side power they once held. They are abominations to all life. To those who wield the dark side they are instruments of great power creating incredibly powerful blades.
While these are closed market, I do request you change this wording to be less permanent. Should a light side wielder ever get their hands on one of these, one might want to purify it at some point.

Standard factory rules apply in that case, and they should be allowed to do so. Simply change the wording please to be less absolute.
