Matsu had learned many things in her life and with work from the other jedi in the silver order she had begun relearning her connection to the force. With Jeela traveling with her and her companionship throughout the galaxy. She had found artifacts of power, ones the jedi had overlooked and disregarded. Though she suspected they would come after what she had. Vaynai had proven to her she could feel the force once again and use it outwards instead of just turning it inwards.
Now she was breathing in and out deeply while she moved around the combat circle. Finding comfort in the scrolls she had gotten from Sang and her half sister stood across from her. The two of them facing off just like old times in the jedi temple as her grin widened. Moving forward both women jumped high in the air kicking as their feet connected, coming down to the ground and letting fist strike at each other as their heads tilted. Practiced movements and she could feel the energy distort pushing past her ear.
Matsu twisted and turned matching Saia as they both preformed a back spin kick and their legs interlocked. Matsu and Saia both falling down and rolling to kick just out of reach of each others faces as they rolled again to be on their knee's. A slap to the ground as they flipped forwards and come up in a standing position, they both turned with their feet down low bringing a force push as the dirt shot up at each other. "Hiya." A sound for show before Matsu closed her mouth to protect from the grit and dirt, her eyes closing and force senses expanding outwards.
She could see now, feel her sister and that small bond between them was open both ways. They could find each other even with the dirt kicked up and in their eyes. Matsu could feel her off in the distance as they ran at each other and jumped up bicycling their kicks as feet kicked each other. until they were on the ground again. Matsu kipped up pushing forward with her legs as she came to a standing position and she saw Saia do the same. Hands going out as their free hands grabbed at the wrists and twisted flipping each other over.
Matsu backed away bringing her hands up and into a position as she moved. Her body reacted and pushing forward with two strikes that sent a burst of force energy, there was some misconceptions with force powers. Some believed you couldn't attack or couldn't fight but that was wrong it was not using aggression, not using your frustration and finding a sense of inner peace as you fight. Inner serenity and Matsu exuded that letting her body be open to the force and have it flow through her. She trusted it, embraced it, allowed it to mold her actions and in return it preserved her, protected her bound her universe together.
Matsu let her mind drift to Hanna and she was happy to have been led to her, enjoying the fact of it all while she matched her sisters movements step for step, strike for strike in a coordinated dance of force energy coming off the two of them. Now they weren't fully fighting they were having fun, their youthful expressions showing to the growing crowd mostly. Matsu could see her family around them, cousins and children, Katagiri, Junko, Nico, Noriko, Ikki even stood there and the ghostly image of Chora with Orihime and Reiko under her hands. Protected and safe....
That was what mattered in the end and what held her to this world, to this path and allowed her despite every challenge to bathe in the lightside of the force while she saw others compromise their own, she saw jedi's who were willing to give in and give up because they found it hard or suffered, jedi who allowed their own opinions to be colored and teachings forgotten because it was easier then doing the work of forming their own. Laziness among the jedi had proven a dangerous thing. Now it was showing as more and more fell, even disappearing as Vulpesen one she knew and trusted had fallen.
She had heard and read the reports from Teta, he was among the missing but he wasn't dead. He wasn't one to die and he wouldn't leave the order, he had either been captured which was dangerous or he had fallen to the darkside which was a very dangerous possibility, a danger to what could come and happen. Now her smirk was on her face while thinking about what had come of the jedi she knew compared to the jedi they were pretending to be. It amused her all the faux righteousness and holier the thou, now they were facing off against ones who could break through them dogma and attack where it hurt.
Their heart and Matsu struck mirroring Saia as they both struck the center of each other chest causing the air to leave the lungs and both flew back into the walls. Matsu felt herself laughing internally as she slid down and sat there for a moment holding a hand up motioning the others away because she didn't need help this was all part of the plan as it went on. The sisters rising and using each other for the bond between them, to strengthen and to know what the other was going to do. Battle coordination between them on a scale few knew and with Matsu's knowledge of force bonds she was navigating the force to hold herself in a better place.
Now they were moving one after the other and continuing the sequence letting their speed come greater and greater like a game of velocities that padawans played. Fitting as she was going to receive that level of respect and acknowledgement until she had proven herself once again. She would have to work and find the trials of the jedi once again for her own dedication. Flesh, spirit, skill and all the others cause there were more then just the ones some thought. She liked using old and new knowledge as Saia slipped and was on the ground. Matsu stood over her and offered a smile standing with her hands on her hips in a Peter Pan pose. "A small victory maybe."
