Question about an objective for laminanium

Ive had this idea floating around for a while and ive started a thread where the NPC creator of my character has started to record an audio log about the creation of Break and how he accompanied the droid through his life in the galaxy from afar. Im putting a fair amount of effort into this and well I thought it was a pretty cool idea.

Forgot to add the actual question, which is, do the requirements for restricted metals have to be strictly adherent to the rules or, can a more unorthodox type of thread pass if enough effort is put into it?

The rules are specifically made so that they are followed. If the objectives are not met, the thread is not applicable for the restricted material.
