Question About Beskar

Okay, so I was looking at the restricted items list, and it appears that in order to use beskar in a submission, you have to mine it or obtain it somehow. However, I have a question. What if I found the beskar, already forged into armor, in a dev thread? I ask because my character who possesses my planned submission had a father who was a Mandalorian, and when he finds out and wants to become a Mandalorian himself, he seeks out his father's armor at his gravesite. The armor is made of beskar, but is already forged and complete, so there is no need for the base ore. Is this an acceptable way to obtain beskar armor?

First and foremost this post really belongs in the Factory Discussion section.

That being said you still need a dev thread at least in the forging/construction of your fathers armor. You could just say the armor is worn down and damaged, and your dev thread is the reforging of said armor. Since your a mandalorian you don't need to fulfill those said objectives I bolded, you just need to forge it. So long as the information is there in the Development Thread, and the Factory Judges are satisfied with your work in the Dev Thread and its length, your golden.

YOu can buy some if you got the cash. Its the best way to get it if your not a mando.

my suggestion is to steal some Phrik and sell it via auction and then buy some Beskar. [member="Atiniir Starrider"]
