Question on expansion

I am planning on creating another character, with the aim of submitting a canon, tier 2 company (Star Tours) through said new character.

That said, I have a question pertaining to the requirement of mass-production products as applied to service companies (here interstellar travel): if the company is a service company, what can be used instead of a mass-production product? Serve three new destinations? Offer three new vacation packages?

Basically any of the above, and more, as I understand it. I have seen service companies that got tiered via simply doing enough miscellaneous threading for them. So, work hard enough at it, and it'll go through either way.

However, I am not a FJ, so don't take my word for it. Its simply me as someone that has done a lot in the Factory.

Miscellaneous threads can be provided in place of mass produced items. You can inquire further about this with [member="Cira"], who is the RPJ who overlooks companies and does most of the tier promotion process work.

If your company is a service company and not a production company, you may be able to replace the requirement of Tech Subs with additional "misc threads" or Codex Subs relative to the company's operations.

And also how many light freighters and/or corvettes can a tier-2 company own? (Assume they are all non-combat ships used for freight or passenger services)

And now I may be wondering how many locations can a tier-3 company have... I know that a tier-1 can have 2, and a tier-2 can have 3, however.
