Question on Zeison Sha advancement

I've been considering adding a Zeison Sha, but I'm not sure how advancement would go, since there's no faction and therefore no Masters. Since they're Force users, I'd think they'd need to start as the Zeison Sha level of Padawan/Apprentice. Would it be feasible to have a RP judge assigned to the character and use the Zeison Sha model of independence and self-reliance? Maybe the character could be turned loose from the Sha Kalan and told to go on a spiritual pilgrimage in order to expand their perceptions and develop their skills?

If an RPJ had the time and the interest, that would be totally feasible and very cool. Another way that could work really well would be to have a thread with a random Master or Knight from any faction or no faction at all, where they come to the Zeison Sha homeworld. Mutual learning-about-each-other. While working with them, your character could gain a greater understanding of his own culture, traditions and techniques. You could also just go to Omega Pyre, which loves to nurture people from different Force traditions -- they already have at least one Zeison Sha. :) A long time ago I RP'ed a Jedi Master who knew Fallanassi techniques, so when a Fallanassi Apprentice came along, I decided to be 'culturally sensitive' IC and teach her only the Fallanassi techniques I knew. She's been an established Knight for years now. :) If you had the right trainer, you could do that at nearly any faction, hypothetically.

You have a lot of options when it comes to getting Knight. :)

You could always promote through capping, you could find a Dark Jedi to teach you, you could ask a Knight/Master level to play an NPC during your training, there are lots of options. And if you do end up playing him for a while you could always PM an RPJ/Admin and discuss it with them. There are many workarounds, and it shouldn't affect your char at all.

Seems like Omega Pyre would be the best option, since historically the Zeison Sha distrusted Jedi & wouldn't associate with Dark Jedi, and part of the fun of the character would be to continue to play that up. Thanks Ashin & Jaxton!

My Character actually follows the ancient creeds of the Jed'aii, which is neither Light nor dark... More like a Grey Jedi but I wouldn't really compare them to Grey Jedis...

So yeah, the OP is a great place to develop a character like that .... talk to @[member="Ayden Cater"] .... he is a good force trainer..

Yeah, @[member="Jack Sparrow"], Omega Pyre has a Je'daii, a couple of Wardens of the Sky, whatever Siobhan Kerrigan is, a Disciple of Twilight, a Zeison Sha...all manner of fringe Force traditions. It's kind of their thing. :D

When it comes to advancing a Force User without a Master, the Force User isn't assigned a Roleplay Judge, but instead should approach Roleplay Judges of his or her own accord when the writer feels like their character is ready to be judged for advancement. Having links to role-plays and an established history throughout these role-plays as well as consistent activity in these role-plays will help further your character's advancement. Every promotion is unique and situational, and will be judged as such.

If the Role-play Judge vouches for you to an Administrator, you will receive the promotion.
