There's nothing stopping you doing such.
There is no lore area to submit it, so use your bio or a blog to make notes about it.

Well Akio is more of an elegant fighter than a hack and slash fighter, he uses the katana more than the machete types of fighting styles. He doesn't have the physical brute strength that would be required to wield a machete effectively.
